Since it has become customary for authors to provide the first review, I will do so as well. As I've stated elsewhere, this is my first stab at this type of format. My days are usually filled with the drudgery of copywriting for corporate clients, and it's slowly draining my soul, I have found writing this story to be a welcome relief from the monotony of my actual copywriting job.
Although I hope I won't have to do this too often, as the story progresses I may have to come back to early chapters to retcon one or two minor things periodically. I will never nerf Mikhail, that's a promise I wish to keep. As much as I've planned ahead, there are some things that just happen, or seem more exciting or thrilling to have, and so I come back to the beginning to make sure it all makes sense.
This is a story of revenge, but it will become something more in the future. This is a story of one man's journey of retribution and redemption, in the distant future it'll also become a story about what it means to wield power.
