In a world where elemental magic defines both power and identity, a fiery warrior woman, Emberlyn, is forced into a political marriage with the enigmatic and icy Frost King, Kael, to end a centuries-long war between their kingdoms. Their union is meant to symbolize peace, but their opposing powers—fire and ice—make their relationship volatile and fraught with tension. As they navigate their uneasy alliance, they uncover a darker threat that could destroy both their kingdoms, forcing them to confront their prejudices, fears, and growing feelings for one another.

The only unique thing is the new concept of the system, other things like world background and plot are nothing new and even quite lame to a certain extent, I'm not fond of harem and early romance, so when the mc entangles with women right in the first several chapters, I got turned off instantly. Not my cup of tea.

I don't often actively try to rate novels, thinking that they will eventually come around and later released, however this novel is quite outstanding compared to all the others I have read. It has all the aspects of a non-repeatable adventure; you get the feeling that everything is fantastically realistic, an MC who thinks carefully before he acts, but is not too cautious: capable of even doing the craziest things that will help him survive (although he doesn't do anything that goes against he moral principles)The world building is also quite extraordinary, nothing is alike and everything is very fun to read about. The author reveals and conceals all the necessary details so as to keep the reader engaged.Overall it is a great pick to read with an amazing writing and translation quality.👍👍👍

I feel you're both right and wrong at the same time. The thing with Issei is he ALWAYS made it known that he wanted a harem, at the same time he never ignored or abandoned any of the girls he loved or loved him, even risking his life and almost dying several times in the process. While treating them 100% equally is impossible, his treatment of them all was equally good as it were. The girls themselves knew he wanted a harem, as did all the factions. Every girl who was in a relationship with him knew full well about it. If they didn't like it, they didn't need to get with him.The problem with Rias and co's actions in this novel and the fanfic the author got the idea from and expanded on is that they do it silently. They keep it a secret. They ignore and push Issei away. They betrayed all his trust and love for them, and yet simply want to have their fun and return to Issei as if nothing had happened. These are the problems with the situation.Had they decided to date other people and broke up with Issei to do so it would be something. Although it would have hurt him, at least it would let him know where he stands. They could of even just talked about it with him that they want to be together and marry, but want to date others until that time. While it might not have gone well, again at least Issei would know what they were thinking about. Also, remember their biggest reason to do all this was wanting 'experience' in dating for being with Issei. Though the idea is pretty stupid, it did lead to a very enjoyable novel, so I can't really complain. They could have handled it all differently but didn't for selfish reasons. Most as they grow older either themselves or friends see partners cheat on their other half. Aside from marriage, or I should say premarriage if you feel the need to cheat, then you should break up first. When it happens so close to you, you will always be angry at the one who cheated in a relationship. Even in the real world, people get revenge in various ways in these situations. So DxD being the sort of world it is will obviously have a more violent form of revenge.I personally have been reading until now to see it made public. I will very disappointed if it wasn't. As it would make Irene and co's actions seem unreasonable and unjustified. To be honest they don't need to kill any of them, crippling or whatever permanently is also unneeded (though anything that can be healed physically is fine by me) even for the guys they got with instead. The guys are pretty normal considering their ages, their actions can be considering reasonable enough. It's the girls that should have made things clear to Issei one way or the other that are in the wrong. So for me, a good old beat down mentally and physically is enough. So long as the truth is revealed as well.
