As for the romance, it focuses on the two main characters, who, despite clear signs, often downplay or overlook their mutual affection. The concept of love in the story isn't explicitly defined in the traditional sense, but homosexuality is accepted, if not openly acknowledged. Normally, constant flirtation without deeper commitment might bother me, but given their unique circumstances, they have valid reasons to put off anything more than physical closeness and promises. If the development between them progresses meaningfully, as Linaria becomes bolder, it has the potential to be a 5-star read.
