A happy and fulfilled life, everyone wanted that. Rio was no exception, he too wanted to feel joy and fulfillment.

But how many actually achieved that?

He didn't know, but he knew that he was not part of those.

Rio, a part time editor of a webnovel called, The Last Stand, transmigrated inside the world of the novel. Not as a main character, nor as a villain, not even a student.

But as a professor.

A simple extra, professor that was never even mentioned in the story. Through some circumstances, he was the mentor of the main cast of characters.

Armed with knowledge of the future, treasures of the world, and skills of different origins. He would raise these students to their utmost as early as possible. He felt that there would be no problem.

However, as time marches forward he realizes everything was not as simple as he thought.

The plot, or the future, as he knew it was going further down the rails. The body he occupied had a mysterious identity. A higher existence watches over him.

Realizing the implications, he gave up on staying low key and unknown. He will strive, live, and survive admist this world of cruelty.

A world set in a modern futuristic setting where cults roam free, capitalism corruption rises, demons and other races exist.

However, even if he survived and lived, will he even feel happinness and fulfillment? He didn't know, but he will live still.

The MC in this story might feel light hearted at first, but as the story progresses he will become more darker. The characters might seem like gary stuish, but don't worry there are plenty of reasons for that.

The story does not just focus on demons, but more so on other humans.

I have no plans to make this a harem story, and usual super MC. Romance is bleak, I, so far, have no intention on making a lovey dovey scene.

    Volume 1 is undergoing a revision or rewrite. I have to heavily edit some mistakes and inconsistent points I've written. I'll update it sometime at October.

    the writing errors overall ruins it, but so does the some nonsensical stuff like, bringing in pre-prepared stuff for a test testing your potential, overall I would've read and payed for more chapters if author would actually fix alot of stufff

    Hello, Deathilim here. I'm gonna be shameless as heck but I'm gonna put my review on five stars. Well, that aside this is my first ever written story! I've been interested in The Novel's Extra's concept and planned to make one of my own. Except, this is not plot driven for the most part but character driven.

    I put more emphasis on the main characters rather than the overall plot, however, there's still plot. Just don't expect it to be grander or over the top amazing!

    Writing Quality — I know some eenglish here and there, but not a native english speaker. Please pardon my mistakes in writing.

    Story Development — The start will be neither fast not slow, atleast that is what i envision. I will lay out the important things at the first few ten chapters and then you shan't worry about the pacing.

    Character Design — Eh, most of my characters are inspired by many different novels. But the main character is an empty vessel, his character at it's core is empty.

    Updating Stability — I will update atleast 1 chapter a day, if I don't, I will upload 2 chapters next day.

    World Background — Pretty, uh, mediocre? This is a magical world set in a modern futuristic setting. Earth, of the future has converged all of it's continent forming the “Pangea” or supercontinent. There will be other races too!

    Writing Quality: No major mistakes.

    Story development: This is quite a bit difficult to say. Although there are quite a good amount of chapters, but I still can't say for sure about it. But nonetheless, I hope MC can atleast be strong if not OP. I really am concerned about his Battle power.

    Character Design: This is quite a good point to notice. There are different types of people with different personalities.

    Updating Stability: Can't say for sure.

    World Background: The World have a lot of possibilities and potential. If developed smartly, this Novel can become a good EXTRA one.

    Hope Author continues to write this novel. I really am interested in this novel. There is a lot of potential in this novel. Also please don't lock the chapters anytime soon. I will be really disappointed.
    Atleast try to make the chapters free till 50 or so chapters.

    Novel has potential. Currently, I am on chapter 53. But no matter how I think about it, it feels like the novel is currently lacking something. Perhaps you are introducing character too early. Or the readers didn't have enough time to connect with the characters. For whatever the reason might be, after you introduced other character POV, the novel feels kind of bland.  There was this one novel I read 3 days ago. And after reading 10 chapters I was hooked up onto it. In the case of this novel, it didn't occur. Kind of feels like I am forcing myself to read this. Sorry author, but as of now I will drop this. After the novel crosses 100 chapters, i will return again to binge read it.

    Honestly this novel has a lot of potential, it could be up there in the future with author's pov, But as of now it could get a lot better. Author you should put more weight into your story, for example we never knew how many students are actually attending the academy or how many teachers are teaching what subjects and how the educational system actually works, and for being called the 'best' academy it's a little bit weird how a mere C-rank could become a teacher, considering that they are teaching nobility, you know like... Noble households that are probably filled with S or SS rank members. You could also expand the main cast, I think 3-5 characters is a little bit on the small side but it wouldn't an issue if they get enough character development
