Bro… you saved me so much money. I’ve had Scribd for a while, but I only got interested in the light novel after the app split into Everand and Scribd, and Danmachi doesn’t show up in Everand. I was about to order all the volumes if needed, but thankfully I don’t have too.
This is one of the best yaoi manga I've ever come across. I've delved into numerous renowned manga, yet occasionally I ponder why some are celebrated while gems like this remain obscure. It's an exceptional manga for all yaoi enthusiasts.
Story: 9
The narrative revolves around Kai, who has lost his lover. Now, he ventures to a different city in pursuit of his lover's killer. This city is dominated by two major gangs, and to survive, Kai must align with one of them. He joins a gang as the bodyguard of one of its key leaders, Ratri. Ratri possesses the same ring that Kai's lover, Maria, had. Thus, Kai is determined to ascertain if Ratri is indeed the one who killed Maria. However, upon closer inspection, he notices that the ring is distinct. So, who is the true killer? Or is Maria even the person Kai believes her to be? I don't want to divulge too much, so you'll have to read it yourself. Trust me, it will captivate you!
Art: 10
I adore the artistry of this author. If you've read Yellow, another work by the same creator, you'll understand what I mean. The artwork is stunning yet avoids making male characters appear overly feminine. I am particularly fond of how the art effectively conveys emotions, allowing the reader to genuinely feel them. It's remarkable.
Characters: 9
The sole reason I'm awarding a 9 is due to lingering mysteries surrounding each character that remain unresolved. I doubt the author will reveal these secrets anytime soon. After all, it's been quite a while. Nevertheless, the rest is impeccable. Each character undergoes significant development, portrayed in a compelling manner. I especially appreciate how characters defy initial judgments.
Enjoyment: 10
A fantastic manga. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope I can still discover more chapters. I never experienced boredom, and the twists were nothing short of astonishing. A great manga that I relished completely.
