In a world where mages, marksmen, fighters, and healers coexist, a devastating war erupts when a misunderstanding between the fighters and mages escalates into a bloody conflict. Betrayed by the marksmen, the mages are decimated, their power seemingly extinguished. Emperor Jian, ruler of the mages, desperately saves his infant son, Xu Feng, before succumbing to his injuries. Xian Lim, a healer, and Gu Liang, a skilled fighter, witness the Emperor's final act and rescue the child, unaware of his magical heritage. They raise Xu Feng as their own, unknowingly harboring the last remaining mage in a world that has turned its back on magic. Years later, Xu Feng discovers his powers, setting in motion a chain of events that could reignite the ancient conflict and determine the fate of a world teetering on the brink of a new war. The amulet around his neck, a symbol of his lineage, holds the key to unlocking his destiny and potentially restoring the balance between magic and might.

This novel is great in manny aspects, but if youcan't handle a immature/idiotic/retarded MC, I would steer away. I have read up to chapter 385, and the MC goes from actual development, and then suddenly all of it is lost, and you read about a retarded toddler, or a kindergardner who is close to being mentaly challanged. The main problem of this, is that we arereading about somone who is an *****, with experiance of war and blood and the harshness of the world, and at manny times throu the novel acknowlages this, ad actualy gives the illusion of maturing in increments. He goes from a mature responseble paragon for hes sect in the heat of the moment/some important times. To a dribbling gradeschooler with downs in about 0-100 in 0.001 sec flat. It is as if we are reading about two completly different people, and it only keeps on getting worse, he actualy becomes dumber in he's "moments" as the novel goes on. If you have problems reding about idiotic MC's who you doubt can even muster the intelligence to open a door, then this MC wil probably give you truble reading the novel. When it comes to world building, the world unfolds in a natural and even pace as cultivation levels or political things in the sect unfolds.0 0 Reply

I stopped at chapter 64. Just after a long Author’s Note stating a massive change to the story. Again. I must have joined late enough that other changes were minimally invasive, but an entire character (as far as I have read) just disappeared with no explanation. Decided to stop before paying because of the drastic change(s). It may not bother others. Just threw me off to much. Not a bad read over all.0 0 Reply

Everything is very good….except the use of western name.Author, if u don’t know the gender of a first name, don’t know how to use first name and surname, and even mistaken one character for another, just don’t use them and keep to eastern names. In first chap i thought it was a mistake but I am at 120 chap and it is the same. There is at least 1 mistake by chap. It seems to me u don’t care about ur story.0 0 Reply

Why not tell anywhere in the title or synopsis, that you’re just reposting a translated novel? Give credits where it’s due? Why make it seem like it’s your work?0 0 Reply

The ring is the MC and the hero is (insert wearer here). So far plot is nice and original, which is refreshing for me. The quality of writing kinda skips dialogue and jumps into chase explained the situation to X(can’t be named). Other than that I find the buying point is the plot of a ring (supporting the) hero and how the MC interacts with the world around him (or the system).I also want to further comment on....E X P Had to do it. That was not a comment Good luck author for however your directions lead you.0 0 Reply
