The death of the High King’s only son initiates the King Trials; demanding the eldest pureblood from each Regnum. Aurora, the estranged and bastard-born daughter of Regnum Valwa, is the only female among eight other Herems. One of noble blood who lived her life in destitution, with her mother and her ill-stricken father and brother. She is blood-bound to compete in the King Trials on the bargain that if she represents Regnum Valwa, her father and brother will receive the treatment they so desperately need.

However, this is no easy feat, she is faced against ruthless rivals, dangerous mythological beings and creatures, forced to fight in bloody duels with an onslaught of death-defying challenges that forges a woman into a warrior; a scoundrel into a soldier. A chronicle of duty and bravery, a story brimming with riveting action, an enemies-to-lovers romance with war-provoking betrayals that reveal they are all pawns in a much larger game.

What can I say. Another novel that looks like it was dropped. I'll put it on my To Read list and will eventually get it. I'll update my review after I check it out.

First of all: if you are contemplating whether or not you should read this novel, just stop right now, don't have reservations and just read it because it's awesome and won't disappoint you.__________________________________________________________Because TL;DR, here's two snippets of quotes from the passage summarizing what I'm going to say:"Ye Qiu! God Ye Qiu!If you only thought of him as a knowledgeable Glory player with incredible skill, then you were wrong, very wrong." (C. 540)"In the end, it was Little Cold Hands who reminded Chen Guo: 'you'd better not treat God Ye Xiu like soy sauce. If you treat him like soy sauce, the entire team will end up being soy sauce.' " (C. 643)...This is one of the best novels and the only one that I can really enthusiastically delve into. It's got a lot of Chinese culture in terms of mannerism, language (slang & idioms), and mostly its humour and gaming culture. There's a lot of comedy but it comes with a touch of realism in every aspect. Although the story is MMORPG-centered around the game called Glory, the author fluidly moves between in-game world and real life (so natural that you don't even bat an eye lol). You can also grasp the concepts easily. Pacing may seem a bit slow but the slice-of-life works really well in this case. The MC, Ye Xiu, is a God-tier, veteran player dubbed Textbook of Glory—but honestly, it's not all about his OPness, wouldn't even be accurate to label him so, right? He has unparalleled passion and love for Glory and he has the talent, skills, mechanism, knowledge and experience to go along with it. There are times when he displays his individual dominating prowess, but there are countless more times when he work behind the scenes to help his team and efficiently uses leadership skills to coordinate and command groups. So our God here is God because he is God: he has what it takes to start from pit-bottom up, wreak havoc among all the guilds and not give a ****, and his character is absolutely shameless (afterall, geniuses and gods are not like normal people, their flaws are hallmark reedemable features lol). His greatness is killing me... arghhh...

this is great and I love it, I hope author doesn't run out of ideas and add unnecessary stuff like a harem or romance, or maybe make modifs to to the system(this one might be necessary depending)

I decided to review this so as to clear some myths. Some idiots who read few initial chapters made some claims about this novel. This is for future readers so that they don't get duped.True this novel is similar to Astral pet store..... about 60-70% similar but not same or exactly similar. Those who haven't read astral pet store don't have to concern themselves with any nonsense and just read this. This novel isn't like other popcorn system novels out there. System isn't OP and helps(or tortures) MC in regards only to pet/pet shop. MC is sensible and not arrogant dickhead. Characters have decent personality. Power system is well defined. World building has some serious potential. Also there are some cliche plots here so though not a perfect but an enjoyable read. Now coming to those who have read Astral pet store. I am currently at chapter 447(reading MTL after chapter 351). If you read this novel for few chapters you may think it is same but it isnt if you read it to the latest chapter i.e. 90. MC's personality here and in astral pet store is quiet different and also his sister. the backstory behind the sibling's relationship is different. The circumstances of their parents is also different and also the family friend, there is no1 in astral pet store. The connections MC has in this novel is different than in Astral pet store, girls here are falling for MC slowly unlike in Astral pet store where we don't have anything of such sorts yet. Now talking about events.... events are similar but in essence different. The exhibition match is different. There is no Momomga in that novel. MC has all together different pets as compared to astral pet store. The relationship between MC and angelina is quite different than their counterparts in astral pet store. Also the extent of Angelina's power, her mobility all these are completely different as in astral pet store. Even the current event of inheritance is entirely different if readers have read though the thing about inheritance is similar. The allies and the enemies MC has are also different.I have mentioned all those things that this novel is different than astral pet store...... One could say this is a fan fic of that novel or inspired from that novel. If you binge read this novel then it will appear to be entirely same but if you read it carefully and give this novel time then you will know that ideas are similar but execution is entirely different. Events are similar but what exactly happens is entirely different. So it doesn't matter if you have read astral pet store or not this novel is a good read. Also the grammar, writing style, narrations is much better in this novel..... Only thing i felt is astral pet store has better and exciting action scenes which this novel lacks but i think that it is just 90 chapters so we might see better action in future....

I read this story and I'm impressed by the way it has been written. It has very small details that an individual faces in his /her life. This story has all mixture of sadness , joy , romance , death etc.

This MC does everything a person with a cheat/system should not do. Showing off, exposing his supreme talent, face slapping... yada yada yada. And then everyone obviously targets him. Lame af. If you can’t stay low profile then he might as well kilp himself in the beginning and be done with it ffs.
