A minute of your time if you please. The reviews talking about the stupidity of the main character and plot armor in the earlier chapters is true. The reason I am not re-writing them is because i don't want to change things and then the later chapters are filled with plotholes. I am not asking for you to drag yourself through those chapters, if you can't take that stuff, then my advice to you is not to waste your time. Seeing as this is my first novel, I would like to think that my writing will get better over its course. This review is just to ward off less tolerant people, instead of them reading the novel and leaving a permanent negative review about something that I am working/have already worked on in the later chapters. I welcome criticism if it will help me improve my writing skills, but having the rating of my novel lowered because of a situation that is being solved/already been solved is just depressing. If you read to this point, thank you for your time. Hopefully, this review will not cause any misunderstandings
MC is from the modern world and invents explosives. When the cliche plot of evil rival family comes a knocking, instead of dealing a decisive blow with an explosive trap, he chooses to fight in a tournament that ultimately wouldn’t reverse the situation with the rival family. If the author wants modern elements in a story, he should stick to it rather than have it be a meaningless background for the MC. Dropped.
For anybody hesitant about reading this novel i recommend you to try it out if you like system type novels the main character starts out as a god a relatively weak one but he is still a god in a fantasy world. He starts out by trying to gather divine power which he does by granting people systems like in video games and when they kill monsters or other people even he gets 70 percent of the power of the kill while the player gets 30 percent in the form of xp so he basically turns the world into a gaming world eventually
