Jane Beckett recently graduated college with a marketing degree and is ready to start her new career. She applies at Greene Industries for an intern position and gets offered a position as the CEO's personal assistant instead. Although the position isn't what she was aiming for, the salary and experience are desperately needed. She decides to take the job with the promise that she can get extra training by sitting in on marketing meetings and meeting once a week with the marketing team.
