"Finally! This novel is an absolute treasure. Unlike typical entertainment stories, it genuinely delves into the intricate worlds of acting and music. The protagonist doesn't rely on a system or instant fame granted by others; instead, he rises through his own unwavering efforts."

"Oh my goodness, finally someone has noticed! Thank you so much. I've read up to around 450 pages, and I absolutely loved it from there. I tried searching for it on various websites, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, I'm really excited!"

"By the way, does anyone happen to have a link to the raw scans? If you do, please share it with me. I'd be incredibly grateful!"

This is an entertaining read, but it drags on unnecessarily. Like a few other reincarnation-themed novels, the protagonist ingeniously exploits unreleased songs. The narrative doesn't clearly clarify, as far as I recall, whether these releases are due to time constraints or the absence of original artists in the story. Surprisingly, well-known songs like Linkin Park's "One More Light," OneRepublic's "I Lived," and Charlie Puth & Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" (despite a convoluted connection to Fast & Furious) suddenly become antagonists without adequate explanation. Despite this, I genuinely enjoyed the first 2,500 chapters and was surprised by the abrupt ending.

The question arises, why do I think it went on too long? It might seem contradictory to express dissatisfaction with the length while also feeling let down by the conclusion. In essence, the story could be divided into two parts: before the character achieves their EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) and afterwards.

Personally, I believe that one can comfortably stop reading after the character completes their EGOT journey, as the rest of the story becomes less engaging. So, here's my suggestion:

If you have ample time and want a satisfying experience, you can enjoy the story up until that point and be content. However, if you choose to read the entire thing, you might find yourself disappointed due to unresolved plotlines. It's a fun work for those willing to invest the time, but the latter half might not live up to your expectations.

Completed chapter 450, thoroughly enjoyed the translation. It was a delightful read that introduced me to some fantastic films and even motivated me to attend a live theater performance for the first time. The protagonist, having been reborn into a different life, takes advantage of his new circumstances to rise in Hollywood. The inclusion of real-life celebrities and pop culture references added to the charm of the story. However, the writing is quite average; better translations might elevate it. The impact of his previous life on him is minimal, barely touched upon. The romantic subplot emerges later, seamlessly integrated into the narrative, although personally, I found the chosen couple somewhat unappealing. I particularly admired the character's passion for acting.

I haven't completed the novel due to its extensive length, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts.

World Building: It takes place in our world, set around the early 2010s, with a unique twist.

Character Development: The author excels at creating vivid characters; each individual has a distinctive personality. There's a slight risk of encountering unflattering portrayals of celebrities, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but overall, they remain relatable and likable. The author also skillfully shifts perspectives to Renly's fans, providing insight into their admiration, which adds depth.

Renly himself is portrayed as a charming gentleman and genius, a consensus among the narrative. However, I'd appreciate if his past life had a more significant impact on his character, as I occasionally forget about his reincarnation aspect.

Cons: The humor attributed to Renly might seem amusing in the original Chinese, but when translated, it loses some of its charm. It's a minor issue, though, compared to having a character that's not overly dull or awkward.

Translation: There are currently 600 chapters available online (450 when I started), and the remaining need to be manually translated. Fortunately, the language is relatively simple. Using tools like DeepL enhances the translation, although it takes longer than directly translating on Google.

In conclusion, as an avid entertainment industry enthusiast, this novel ranks high among my favorites. It delves into extraordinary detail about films and the industry, although sometimes the level of detail can be overwhelming.

Finally! It's about time someone took on this Webnovel! This novel is an absolute must-read. Although the translation could use some refinement, I'm thrilled that someone's picked up where others left off. The initial 450 chapters are available on Webnovel, featuring a mix of decent translations and machine-translation parts. Regardless, this gem stands out among the rest. It's one of my all-time favorites, and I assure you, you won't be disappointed. I don't often leave comments, but this is truly a delightful read!
