It was not until fifty years later that she learned the truth.
She was merely the villain in a post-apocalyptic novel. Her death and all her suffering had existed only to highlight the righteousness of the male and female protagonists.
After learning the truth, Jiang Fu did not seek revenge in the epilogue.
Instead, she slaughtered her way out of the novel’s side story and back into the main story—returning to the apocalypse, when everyone was still struggling to survive.
This time, before her enemies could rise to power, she would end their promising lives herself.
