Jiang Can was the fake young master of a wealthy family—spoiled, dramatic, and so annoying that both people and dogs hated him.

After the real young master returned home, Jiang Can was neatly packed up by his foster parents and sent off into a marriage alliance with the legendary gloomy big shot, who was said to be old and ugly.

What kind of joke was that? A prince on a white horse was supposed to marry a princess.

So Jiang Can chose to run for his life.

He ran.

He failed.

Then he got into a car accident and hit his head so badly it almost knocked his brains loose.

When he opened his eyes again, he quietly reached out and held the gloomy big shot’s pale, slender hand.

This… this was his fated Princess.

“The Little Mermaid”

Every morning, Jiang Can pulled the big shot into his arms and said, “Don’t be scared. I love you every day. Only you… I won’t let you turn into sea foam.”

When his foster parents came to negotiate, Jiang Can shyly wrapped his arms around the big shot’s waist. “Don’t be scared. I won’t let the witch hurt you.”

Big Shot: “…”

Later on, the big shot looked through the blurry glass at Jiang Can crouching outside the bathroom door, lost in thought.

How exactly was he supposed to tell Jiang Can that no mermaid could crawl through the sewer and swim back into the sea?

“The Real and Fake Princess”

With one sharp motion, Jiang Can pushed away the real young master who had come looking for trouble. He grabbed the big shot’s hand, his voice firm and sure.

“I know you’re a fake princess. It’s okay. I love you!”

He stuffed the card the big shot had given him, along with the three hundred yuan in his pocket, all back into the big shot’s hands.

“As long as you want it, and as long as I have it, it’s yours.”

Big Shot: “…”

Later, the big shot watched Jiang Can eat pickled vegetables and steamed buns himself while giving him fish and meat instead.

A dull headache crept in.

How was he supposed to tell Jiang Can that this family was actually richer than a whole country?

“Sleeping Beauty”

Jiang Can held his shattered glass heart—broken from rejection—and cried as if rain were pouring from the sky.

“Oh, my dear Princess Highness! If you cannot accept my kiss, then let me carry my love and my duty, and be buried among the thorns!”

He stood before a roadside rose bush, looking utterly determined.

Big Shot: “…”

To avoid trending on the hot search headlines, the big shot was forced to wake up every morning and accept a true love’s kiss.

“There Were Other Princesses…”

Later, the big shot grew used to bathing together with Jiang Can, being his real princess, and accepting that true love’s kiss every morning.

Then one day, Jiang Can woke up and panicked. “I-I-I-I…”

The big shot smiled. Then his expression turned cold. “You want to run?”

The top had hit his head so hard that he thought he had transmigrated into a novel.

He hadn’t.

And this is not a quick-transmigration story either.
