Emberline Stark felt like an idiot. She had lost her wealth. Her Fiancé. Her name. Her self. All in one day. She wanted to end it all, to stand on that bridge and give it all up. But just before she leaped, a hand grabbed her. Now she is forced into a contract marriage with the nation's play boy and a modelling career. But when she discovers her husband's true identity, she must choose between her soul and her dreams. **** "I promise I didn't gawk...much." he said with a smirked. My cheeks went from red to super hot and I said the one word that came to my head, "Pervert!!!"

The storyline was genuinely entertaining! The cover, with the two boys in suits, led me to believe it would be a seinen manga, something more mature. But no, I was delightfully misled.

I was quite disappointed. The protagonist exhibited an unnecessary amount of male chauvinism at the start of the story. In fact, many gay characters in Yaoi tend to be sexist, which doesn't make sense since these stories are often written by women. To be honest, the gay individuals I know in real life (including myself) deeply admire women. I hope this begins to shift within the BL genre.

Still, the artwork is undeniably cute, yes,
but I couldn't connect with the story or the characters at all—except for the guy with glasses, who strongly reminded me of Colonel Hughes (in terms of appearance). Without hesitation, I stopped reading after the second chapter.

As a longtime fan of Suzuki Tsuta, I have to say this collection isn't one of the mangaka's most appealing works. It does carry some of the author's characteristic charm, but I'd definitely recommend checking out other titles first.

Not all the stories are bad, though. The third one is actually quite endearing, even if it's a bit simplistic in concept. However, the first story feels lackluster—it's another "we slept together while I was drunk so now I'll take responsibility" trope. The second story left me confused with its unclear progression and featured an unlikable love interest who was actively cheating on his girlfriend. And the fourth story involves the main character crying and getting hit by their love interest, which was meant to be slapstick humor but just came off as pathetic, showcasing someone willing to settle for a poor relationship dynamic.

Many of these tales aim for lighthearted romantic comedies with sweet or slightly despicable male leads... If that's what you're looking for, there's no reason not to go with one of Suzuki Tsuta's more recent or popular works. They'll deliver the same vibe but execute it far better.

Loved this story and I love me some Gideon! Super strong female that doesn’t take garbage behavior lying down nor does she excuse repugnant behavior because of a mate bond. If you love well written plots with characters you love, hate and love to hate, a touch of smut and some cute twins, read this!

I have just finished this novel, and it is great one, i recommend it a lot for those who like leasure Ang light read. Even if my former opinion still hasn't change as I did find it is somehow very unexciting to have a laid back main lead, while the whole focus revolt around how the ML secure his crown, yet because the focused were on the FL we failed to get the great epic, however it did not really erase the whole excitement, just a little bit in my opinion. The FL is un ambitious yet able to repel any schemes throw at her. This could be the way author want to make this story an easy and enjoyable one to read. and The way the character also have a reasonable personality is a big plus too, not the way that heroine against the whole world type of thing.
