"Where do you think you're going?" He asked with amusement in his voice, his peppermint breath hitting my ear making my breath hitched. I was too scared to move, I felt like I was paralyzed as his fingers brushed down my arm, making tingles run down my spine and shots of pleasurable electricity went through my arm. "You are mine!" He growled in my ear, making my knees buckle. Brooke is deaf and mute because of it, she has been living alone since she got out of high school and away from her drug addict, abusive father. She is now living a comfortable life as a painter. One day she was on her porch painting when a moving truck arrived next door. Her curiosity got the best of her and she took a look, only to see another car follow and a sex god exits the vehicle. Brooke has no idea that the sex god is none other than the devil himself and he has only one goal in mind... To retrieve what's his. Cover made by me kenralove12

The premise is pretty interesting. I like how the conflict is established right off the bat without wasting anytime. I do feel like this story could use a couple more characters, though.0 0 Reply

Overall, the plot is solid, and I really love the uniqueness of this novel. What stands out the most is how the disciples, especially Xu Yan (the first disciple), get most of the screen time and handle all the classic “Er Gen MC” moments, while the actual MC stays in the background as a powerful and mysterious master. It’s a refreshing twist. As for the translation, it’s generally good, but the inconsistency in names can be frustrating. Sometimes, it feels like even the translator (or maybe the author) gets confused about who’s talking, leading to the wrong name being used. Thankfully, the context and the distinct personalities of the characters make it easy to figure out who’s actually speaking.Another issue is the inconsistency with names for techniques, locations, and realms. For example, the “Great Zhou” country is suddenly called “Da Zhou” in the next chapter. While it means the same thing, it was confusing at first. In later chapters, “Dao” is sometimes translated as “The Way,” which is technically accurate, but I’d prefer it to stay as “Dao” for consistency. There’s also some mix-up between terms like “Realm” and “Domain,” which isn’t a huge deal but still highlights the inconsistency. On top of that, weapons get mistranslated a lot. For instance, Xu Yan uses a sword and Meng Chong uses a knife, but Meng Chong’s knife often gets translated as “sword,” “blade,” or “saber.” I’m guessing this is because all those terms can fall under “sword” in some translations, but it’s still annoying. The cultivation realm of Master, Grandmaster and Great Grandmaster also soemtimes take time to figured out which is being referred to which. Because Grandmaster is higher than Master but Great Grandmaster is equal to Grandmaster in some case.Overall, it’s a great story with some minor translation hiccups.0 0 Reply

Ever wanted to read multiple novels at once? This novel is for you! The amount of inconsistencies and changes the author makes every chapter make it so every chapter is from a new novel! In fact, around chapter 20, the author even makes it a new novel with the doppelgänger skill! Fun fact: The novel never describes what something looks like other than body size! You can imagine it however you want, what a great author it is! Why write in your own descriptions when the reader can imagine it for you! It was amazing, in one of the fights, a character transforms into a 'strength beast', then an 'agility beast'! The descriptive story telling perfectly describes the experience this novel provides! It's like the most beautiful, stunning, powerful head butt you could ever receive! In case you are slow, and made it this far, this novel is terrible. Save your brain cells.0 0 Reply

This novel is quite decent. Besides the most overpower MC starter package I have ever seen, Everything else about the novel is quite good. The MC is very hardworking and reasonable. He does not spend his time doing unrelated **** and always actively find a way to improve. The background characters are quite reasonable. Not everyone wanted to kill him and not everyone he fights with bear a grudge and people respected him when he strong. If you want a decent novel with very little bad cliques, hardworking MC, decent plots, and fast-paced action, this novel is for you.0 0 Reply

Highest quality writing I've experienced in webnovel and throughout many books.Exelent character design and story from what I've read, even past the point many people dropped. This novel so far is more focused on character dynamics, the good and bad relations rather than action and im all for it especially with the cliches being revamped into a more realiatic experience or being mocked by the characters. So far world building is minimal but im still at a part where they have yet to fully leave the start and cant wait for what is to come.Overall very hyped to continue reading, and i hope you will too0 0 Reply

After an...unintentionally long hiatus from wn, I decided to come back to some nice PancakesWitch novels. I was sad to see that some were already completed, but then I saw that there were new stories and I was overjoyed.I started reading this one and I immediately knew that it would be my kind of story. I can't wait to see what's in store! Keep up the great work!0 0 Reply

The characters are well-written and consistent. There are comedic moments as well as gore and fight scenes. I suppose there's a reason why Nathan's teacher is a cat? Hopefully the author will do a plot reveal on his identity. I am also curious about his life in Scotland so I look forward to read about his parents. Overall, I enjoyed it.0 0 Reply
