The synopsis can be a bit misleading. The story starts with the main characters already established as a couple, which I actually preferred. I enjoy established relationships without unnecessary drama or third-party interference. There are a few flashbacks that show their initial meeting, which helps fill in the backstory if you're curious. I had overlooked this novel for a while because the synopsis suggested that the male lead (ML) was raised by the female lead (MC), but they only really started interacting when ML was in his late teens or early twenties. The exact timeline is a bit hazy due to the flashbacks, but in the present storyline, we follow the couple as they tackle various issues in the country, mostly related to MC's duties as the crown prince.

ML supports MC, providing both emotional and physical assistance. MC has some medical and cultivation issues, and ML is deeply devoted to her. MC is aware of ML's intense admiration and tries not to exploit it. ML is generally affectionate and obedient to MC and only MC. Despite his deep obsession, ML isn't overly dominant or forceful with MC because he respects her immensely.

    **Spoiler:**
ML's obsession is quite intense. He was trapped in a nightmare heart illusion and found pleasure in being tortured by MC. It's implied that he would do almost anything MC asks, except stay away. He would rather beg, be punished, or even be killed by MC than force her, though he isn't entirely opposed to it.

I really love the dynamics within MC's family. They are active characters in the book and are not blind to the challenges MC faces. A united family is always a plus. MC's family is quite large because they are immortals.

    **Spoiler:**
Many of them are in seclusion, but they gather during emergencies. There's no competition for the throne, as no one wants the responsibility.

**,** the story is more of a 4-star read than a 5-star one, but its current rating is surprisingly low. I was a bit confused at the beginning, but it's a very enjoyable read. We're not far into the story, and it promises to get even better.

It's really engaging so far, even though I've only read one chapter. The translator hasn't made any grammar, spelling, tense, or punctuation mistakes, and the story's summary makes me believe I'll enjoy it.

I hope to see more soon.

    Wonderful!!

The novel’s pace is quick due to its concise structure, with a limited number of chapters.

The summary provided is just a snippet of a larger flashback.

From the outset, Yin Li is already with Yang Huiyan. The narrative of the novel traces their journey, leading to Yang Huiyan becoming the 'Demon Ancestor who desired Supremacy.'

Yang Huiyan, known as the Demon Ancestor in the future, starts as a devoted servant deeply in love with his master. Despite his demonic tendencies, he retains a touch of humanity, partly due to his human nature and his fear of displeasing his beloved master.

Supremacy, or Yun Li, is the Sixth and sole Prince of the Xie Yan Kingdom, the most powerful of the four kingdoms. At the beginning of the novel, he is a seemingly weak but highly capable and gentle prince. Stuck at the Building level in cultivation, he faces a bleak future with only about 100 years left to live.

Their love story, marked by an unwanted separation and a dramatic reunion, is incredibly epic. Yang Huiyan holds his master in the highest regard, loving him more than himself. Yun Li, aware of this devotion, indulges his beloved servant and partner, wishing the best for him but cannot bear the thought of losing him, no matter the cost.

I managed to read up to Chapter 57 through machine translations, but couldn’t find Chapter 58 on any site. I hope it comes out soon or that the translator finishes the work at lightning speed. Amen!

Thanks to @Jun Rui, I was able to read the final chapter.

The ending is simple yet beautiful, showcasing Yin Li’s unwavering determination to remain with his dear servant.

I truly hope the translator will complete the translation while taking care of their health. They have done an excellent job with the initial chapters.
