Glenn Hughes had spent most of his life confined to a hospital bed. Brilliant yet shackled by a cruel fate, he endured ten long years under the relentless weight of an unforgiving disease. Between medications, surgeries, and agonizing treatments, death had begun to seem less like an end and more like a mercy.
But when he finally closed his eyes for the last time… rest did not come.
The stench of sweat, dust, and blood was the first thing to greet him. Shackled, filthy, and drained of strength, his body was no longer his own. He was no longer in a hospital but in a cell. No longer a patient, but a prisoner.
“What the… what the hell is this?”
Glenn had been thrust into a world of steel and prana, reborn in the body of a condemned slave. Once a noble, now nothing more than a number among the damned.
Yet, something was different. There was a reason he was still alive.
Witness Glenn’s transformation as he is dragged through agony and ecstasy, suffering and desire, boundless pleasure and unrelenting torment—all while shouldering a burden so crushing that any other man would break.

I read until chapter 300 almost, 295, only reason I even did so was the whole book was free thanks to the webnovel deal they have where certain books are unlocked completely for a limited time. The plot was inconsistent and chaotic and full of filler, half the time I couldn't make heads or tails of what was happening or why it was happening, the author has a severe randomness problem, this also ties into the plot, for the times I can actually comprehend with is going on overall and their is a point to the madness with an over arching story in general for each arch its fleshed out poorly, alot of the time the pacing sucks and I just find myself wanting to get it over with, the jokes are unfunny and only once in the entire 300 chapters where they finally faced off against the wolf clan or whatever and the action somehow finally psyched me up a Lil bit.Overall while the story isn't bad, it has a randomness and filler problem that often makes me question if it weren't free could I justify spending my coins on it, at least for me o wouldn't be able to justify to myself unlocking this rather than something else, the kaijus characters I didn't really find cool, the jokes unfunny, the whole acting like your stronger than you really are trope was over used and alot of the time I just wanted the MC and his allies to bash the enemies skull in already in boredom and frustration, and filler and chaotic writing plagued many chapters, do I need to know every single thought of every character involved in this one scene happing at one point of the story? He'll no! 2.2 stars is my rating, go spend coins on some other summoner MC book.0 0 Reply

Hey. Just want to say this novel is good, but it can also be better. Just minor editing (well English is not your first language). But the plot is good, kinda realistic, but a little repetitive, some plots just pop like the Author did not really think about it but just made those plots for the past chapters. Ex. When Maiden 1 went to the hospital it says she can't peel the apples cuz she has maids for those work. Then in the next chapters it says Function 1 of shop 'Foods' has been unlocked, and it stated because he conquered maiden 1, and the maiden will have corresponding talents to the function so she has a talent for cooking (he said "so thats why shes good at cooking". See what I mean? Another thing is that a chapter came out of nowhere stating he is emotionless killing machine, gaining the title "emperor". That is really contradicting from what I read.Anyways, overall good Novel, its a gem! I'll still read it! Sincerely yours, SovereignContrast0 0 Reply

There’s only one reason why am making this post and that is I continuously see a whole bunch of people posting about The fact he has no idea what the anatomy of a jellyfish is. And that is perfectly reasonable if you did not read the title of the book. He’s going off the Cthulhu mythos so don’t expect a powerful jellyfish but instead a giant god that has parts resembling tentacles. Your complaints are perfectly reasonable just please remember this is not a jellyfish book it’s a Cthulhu book. If you don’t know about Cthulhu you’re reading this book please look up Lovecraft. The explanation there will provide you what you need to know before deciding to pick this up or not.0 0 Reply

I tried. I really did try to read through this. A sci-fi reincarnation story? I really wanted one to add to my library, but this is bad. 1. For the first 3 chapters, there is no explanation. Just full-on action, where you don't know what is going on. Some of the names and terms are used interchangeably, so you can't even keep a consistent track of what you could understand.2. The story definitely needs an editor.3. When you finally reach chapter 4, and you figure you'll get something slow paced, it suddenly feels as if the character is overpowered. There is no brakes to it.4. In almost every sentence of chapter 4, the author uses the character names over and over. Like in a first POV, someone used "I" all the time. It's like the word "he" was limited to 5 a chapter. 5. Overall, it's quite easy to tell the author is a bad writer. There are a lot of mistakes. And I would give him/her the benefit of the doubt if it weren't that they were also a bad storyteller from as far as I could tell at 3.5 chapters in.0 0 Reply

Seeing this change in her, the hidden foe seemed to stare in disbelief, before snapping out of it and going on guard as well, a thick shield of blazing blue fire appearing in front of them.0 0 Reply
