In an unprecedented step, the Dao descends to witness life firsthand, taking form in the mortal realm. With each incarnation—whether human, deity, or demon—it begins to unravel the secrets of choice, love, and suffering that drive the souls it once observed from afar. Yet, as the Dao journeys deeper, it discovers a dark force lurking at the edge of existence, one determined to unravel the cosmic order and plunge realms into chaos.
