The first chapters maybe...🤔 good (?), but when the check-in system comes in... What the heck! 🤯 What happened? 🧐 the novel is based on a 'deduction system', but here comes the check-in system parading like it is the system the novel is based on! 😱What happened to the author! 😰 Did the author get brain aneurysm or something that he literally include another system to spice things up?! 😓 What happened!?😅😅😅
I think I should stop reading reviews before the actual novel. It's already ruined my view of this novel that I could've enjoyed. Is this a big mood for anyone else?
This is the sequel to Exodus: The Assassin's Path. If you didn't read TAP, then you absolutely be lost. GnG is set twenty years after TAP and features QJ as the MC. He is the son of the MC from the first story. Many of the old characters are featured in the new story. QJ relies on his high powered intellect to figure things out. It's still early and lacks the 'wow' moments that made TAP such a great read, but I have high hopes that GnG will deliver.
