Modern-day tomb raider Jiang Yao is chased by a “zongzi” (reanimated corpse) and accidentally falls into an abyss. When she opens her eyes, she finds herself in the 1970s, now a young military wife who has been “widowed” for three years, struggling to survive with her officer husband’s grandmother.
Forced by life’s hardships, Jiang Yao returns to her old profession.
But who would’ve thought—right after coming out of a tomb, she gets arrested.
