Really not my cup of tea. It tries to do too many things without successfully doing any of them. It’s got low level low effort comedy, low effort cultivation, and sincerely low effort world building. What makes this book fun? The passives and how they play out, of course. So what does the Author do? Everything else but. And when he does talk about the passives and the system, it feels reluctant and rushed. Why name the book after that if you just want a face slapping, low tier, Cultivation World? this is the most enjoyable read so far, ive never read romance novel without xianxia and wuxia bullsh*t and this is really revive my taste bud for romance (i dont mean that the novel is pure romance, there will be a bit kicking here and there bur overall the story is contain slice of life - revenge and romance) , and this is my first novel about romance since every romance novel out there start with female mc instead of male one,and i found this intriguing, as for the storythis is similar to empress gigolo's which is the male MC is weak chicken that will use his in-laws backing and his wife to do everything that he wishes, as for the MC Gold finger, he transmigrated with xray vision and laptop in his sea of consciousness with 20years worth of medicine knowledge, bachelor degree and extremely handsome faceOverall the story is very good, the face slapping isnt to forced after reading 60 chapterNote : Highly recommended for those who like romance but dont like the MC to be female0 0 Reply

Writing : 4Wasn't perfect, but was goodStability 4Read the chapter release pageStory development: 1This is the main thing that pissed me off about this book, I tried to love it, I love books with level and bloodlines, so this ticked allllll my boxes, but it was just soooooo drawn out, and the continuity annoys me, MC recognises game elements, but doesn't correlate other parts to game stuff, like lvl 1, with a % on the same line, recognises level as a game thing, and then actively wonders what the % is for.... Like wtf?!?Book draws everything out longer than it needs to, 1 chapter of other books takes place during 3-5 here, and they ain't even the short kind, and the MC doesn't seem to learn at all. Do X, turns out horrible, does X again, literally next chapter. like, wtf?He complanes about a gift that literally keeps him alive, every single chapter, usually multiple times, and for all the talk about wanting to know more, he never actually comes up with any ideas about what could happen or what stuff might do, he just says 20 times I need get a better idea before I decideCharacter design and world : generous 3, we're told literally nothing about the world other than bad shits happening now, which I figured out from title apocalypse, and MC is completely unlikable, and for a situation where his life has changed so much, and has been under so much pressure, he hasn't changed at all which triggered me, since we adapt really well under pressure, and he hasn't.0 0 Reply
