Kayla White is a beautiful and pure girl who lived a life of pain and suffering. "In the shadow of pain and suffering, Kayla White's life takes an unexpected turn. Haunted by her past, she makes a desperate choice: a contract with the devil himself, Leon King, an entity devoid of love. Out of desperation, she strikes a contract with the devil. A contract with an impossible goal. A month-long contract to make him fall for her. Leon who is a cold and heartless CEO and an Alpha of the Moonlit Pack. As Kayla embarks on a perilous journey to make the unlovable fall for her, the boundaries between darkness and desire blur. Will her purity and resilience be enough to kindle a forbidden love in the heart of a creature bound to darkness? ************************ Leon's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly reminded her, "You know that I don't do love." "I understand," Kayla replied, her gaze unwavering. Her decision was motivated by her longing to escape her tormenting reality, even if it meant venturing into the unknown with a man of secrets. Leon studied Kayla for a moment, pondering her request, before finally saying, "You know I don't do love." Kayla nodded, ready to embrace the uncertain path that lay ahead, knowing that this decision could be her escape from her nightmare. "Are you sure you want to do this, agreeing to do this is following me to my realm of hell and there won't be any going back?" Leon said warning her. "I agree, but I have one question," Kayla said. "What is it?" Leon asked. "What if I managed to tame your heart, what if I make you fall in love with me?" Kayla asked. Leon's face darkened, and he said. "You can't." "What if I can?" Kayla asked. She does not know where the surge of confidence came from. She knew challenging him was a stupid decision. Leon's laughter filled the room sending shivers down her spine. He stood up and walked towards her till he was only a slight meter apart. He leaned in and said. "Very well, if you can tame my heart. You can have anything you desire" Kayla could not help but wonder if she was making a deal with the devil himself. "Anything I desire?" Kayla asked. "As long as you can name it," Leon said as he inhaled deeply her intoxicating scent. "Is there anything I desire?" Kayla asked herself inwardly. Growing up, she has always hoped for freedom and happiness, she has always wished to smile without any burden but she knew it was just wishful thinking, but now it seems that there is hope.

Nah I think the synopsis has just an error translation. The story is not Yaoi and it's more focus on shameless relatives, I found it good though.

Chapter 200: turn your brain off before reading, a very complex novel edited by a very bad editor, you can imagine the result

Forbidden Wedding is a Shoujo, Smut, Romance, Comedy with a storyline that veteran shoujo manga readers will find familiar... just shorter.

Our protagonist, Hana, is a childlike girl who has always dreamed of meeting her prince one day, and that day finally arrives. However, he isn't the kind of prince she envisioned. Cue the standard shoujo romance plot: a girl reluctantly falling in love with her mischievous prince. While this is labeled as smut, it's actually a rather adorable shoujo romance manga with minimal drama to complicate things. The couple at the center of the story is enjoyable to follow, finding themselves in numerous sensual situations, yet the overall setup feels unoriginal.

Hana Akiyoshi is your typical naive, innocent girl who is quite easy for our hero to take advantage of. As for Ichiya Toujyou, his character is full of contradictions. He can be genuinely kind but also cruel at times; he’s a sadist yet capable of sweetness. Ultimately, this shoujo manga crafts them into a perfect match, and while there are other characters present, they're largely irrelevant.

The artwork is arguably the manga's strongest point, featuring some intricately designed characters. That said, it's clear where less effort was put in.

In conclusion, this manga is an enjoyable read for anyone with a taste for 'romance' or 'smut' and less than an hour to spare. However, the story falls short due to its lack of depth and originality.

If you're new to shoujo smut manga, this might excite you. However, if you've read shoujo smut before, then this isn't very unique. There are no parts that will make you fan girl squeal because everything has been done before. A girl who always wanted to marry a kind-hearted prince gets a prince, but OH MY GOD, BIG SURPRISE!!! He's a pervert who's always teasing her! *GASP* I did not see that coming! Oh wait... yes, I did.

Not to say this manga was boring because it wasn't; it was just average. This manga had nothing that would make me say "this sucks so stupid!" but it also had nothing to make me say "OMG so good I loved it!" It's also a quick read that you can finish in under an hour. Seriously, I started at 9:40 and ended at 10:15.

The art was cute bishie style but nothing spectacular.

    Overall: 7/10<p>

The positive aspect of this manga was that it met my expectations precisely. With extensive experience in what many refer to as the 'shoujo' genre, I was well-aware of the usual tropes to anticipate.

Enter the predictable elements: forced marriages, a male lead who's both evil and sadistic, a naive and helpless heroine, a dynamic where the main male character treats the heroine terribly yet she secretly harbors feelings for him, conflicts that inevitably lead to romantic reconciliations, and, naturally, explicit content. There wasn't a single element here that wasn't clichéd or anticipated.

The storyline followed a conventional path and unfolded rather swiftly. The concept of a marriage between the offspring of unrequited lovers is nothing new, compounded by the recurring 'sadistic wealthy guy' stereotype. Not to mention, he repeatedly sexually assaults the heroine. *shrugs* At this point, I feel desensitized.

As for the artwork, it was decent but quintessentially 'traditional' shoujo, which isn't my preference. This includes characters with stringy hair, awkwardly drawn shoulders, perpetually smirking male figures, and women depicted as petite, delicate beings with oversized eyes and flawless hair. Again, I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking.

I did find some enjoyment in it, though I disliked admitting that given the frequent instances of assault. However, the narrative didn't drag on, and all parties involved claimed the acts were consensual, allowing me to overlook these aspects for a few humorous moments.

In conclusion, it wasn't a complete waste of time, but I doubt I'll revisit this manga.

I would recommend this if you: adore classic shoujo, appreciate sadistic and forceful male characters, enjoy innocent female protagonists, prefer fast-paced, concise stories, and are intrigued by the concept of arranged or forced marriages.

I would NOT recommend this if you: seek character development, desire a complex plot, crave originality, detest clichés, dislike naive female leads, abhor sadistic and forceful men, or prioritize consent.

    Have an excellent day, everyone!

I read this for days and then it abruptly ended with no ending. No ending at all. It would not even let me search for an ending. Never pay money to read a story off of here again.
