Love this! Easily one of the better novels on here, despite the authors peculiarities (his obsession with one liners after long pauses) they have created a really solid world and nice reading experience. Overall it’s a very fun read and I am expecting it to get even better!Although i do have some complaints but they’re more about my preferences than the authors writing quality. The only technical thing I could say about this is that the author should be careful not to subconsciously or otherwise become consumed by the Chinese fiction way of writing, fellow cultiva- Ahem, anyways, some vibes I got were very manuah-y or whatever you’d call that spice. Its not an entirely technical complaint and also more of my preference but sudden vibe changes do ruin the pace and already built atmosphere of what you’ve got!Also I’d like to see how the waifus progress! Hopefully they do get an important role after their power ups and development. I’ve seen too many stories where the girls around the mc are immortals with one in a million years bodies only for it to become completely pointless and a waste of time because the Mc has become so much more stupidly powerful than them, where their progress might as well not even matter. Although so far you have done really well with them, and because of it i am even more invested in how they’ll become later on! I hope the Mc doesn’t lose the need to depend on their capabilities because so far you’ve done really well with it. I also like you writing more about the emotional and mental aspect of things and their relationships. (But perhaps you can hold back on those paragraphs of whatever the mc tries to do to sound wise and experienced? It’s probably one of the only things I actually found a bit hard to read so far.)Ah, also I gave about three stars because although the story is a good read it has the potential to be even better! Don’t rush and trust the process, it’s usually better that way! So many authors that get told their stories are good end up rushing things to get even more praise or whatever and ruin the good they had! But also don’t waste chapters please! Well, those date chapters were really nice though 😩👍

One of the most important criteria for a novel is the personality of the mc, he can be weak or strong as long as he is intelligent, mature and cold hearted when needed it’s Okay for me.I hate when we have a protagonist that have lived for thousands of years and act like a 15 years old kid; so I can tell you that this one of the best mc from 100+ that I have read, you can also add WAO.

Recently chapters 1-25 have been retranslated so many of the previous complaints in reviews have been addressed.  The novel has also returned to 5ch/wk.  Having gotten that out of the way:This is a fun novel to read,  it's full of interesting characters and the MC is memorable.   It's very reminiscent of Chen Dong novels, with beast companions, anti-hero MCs, along with bits of humor sprinkled throughout the story. The translation & editing are very good. Leaps & bounds above most other QI novels. The TL team's retranslation of earlier chapters should be commended. They may not be the fastest,  but their dedication to this novel is great!Definitely a hidden gem on webnovel.com that should get more attention!
