Symphonies of the fallen

Russell Thorne, a washed-up musician descends into a city plagued by eternal night. The sky is pitch black, and an oppressive energy hums in the air. The city itself is a labyrinth of gothic architecture, decayed and twisted. Russell witnesses the Sovereigns—vampire-like beings that rule the city. They harvest the life force of enslaved humans, maintaining their prolonged lifespans. The people live in constant fear, hiding or serving the Sovereigns. He learns that in this world, music holds an incredible, dangerous power, capable of altering reality itself. He discovers that musicians here are either revered or feared for their ability to wield such power. With the gift from his world, Russell pushes forward in a dark, treacherous world, finding himself at the edge of survival on every turn.
