"Then i'll stay. I guess." My chest tightened when I breathed and forced myself to relax. Uncle Marcus didn't make me feel odd, but the chief did. It was like a predator watching his prey. I didn't know why he made me feel that way, but he did.
And finally again, the Imperial turns around. If we keep this up, we wouldn't make the 7:30 deadline. The sun was starting to set but the Imperials still had a good line of sight over the rice fields.
The story started off very started, and the author didn't waste any time getting to the meat of everything, although I would appreciate some breathing room so the reader can get immersed. The writing is simple, but it flows very well and is easy to read.overall strong start
