Soulbound: The Eternal Duelist

In a realm where power is governed by one’s connection to the “Soul Veil” — an ethereal layer between the physical and spiritual realms — each individual’s strength is determined by their Soulbound Weapon. These weapons are unique to their wielders and grow in power through cultivation. However, to unlock the highest power, a duelist must pass through the “Nine Realms of Ascension,” each realm more deadly than the last.

Our protagonist, Wei Feng, is an underdog with a fractured soul and no Soulbound Weapon. Despite facing humiliation and setbacks, he discovers a rare ability called Soul Absorption. With it, he can consume fragments of defeated souls and gain power and memories from his fallen foes. As he climbs the realms, Wei learns of a dark prophecy that ties his fate to the destruction or salvation of the world.
