Something Borrowed

The six elders passed around the order and carefully examined it to confirm that it was indeed authentic. The truth was that the sect had wanted to reclaim the order for a long time, but they did not have a way to force it from Old Devil's hands. Old Devil knew that the order was equivalent to another life, thus he held onto it with his dear life. Who would have predicted that it would fall into the hands of a mortal without any reputation?

Min stood there all embarrassed and was thinking that this day was the worst. The only though in his head now was that he wanted to hide somewhere where no one could see him.

Only shooting stars break the mold

Oh, it's not just her. It's also with the Crown Prince as well. In that picture, she was holding—actually, more on hugging—the Crown Prince which she finds really, really embarrassing.

I was in fourth grade at that time. I usually don't remember the things that has happened in the past which is least of the importance ,but this, I remember it very clearly.  

She took my arm and walked outside....she looks sad. She let go of my arm once we got outside.

It's great so far and seems to be inspired by I'm Really A Superstar by Chang Yu !! While there hasn't been any comedic scenes in comparison to IRAS where the comedy starts in first 10 chapters.IRAS had a lot of faceslapping plots but it wasn't cringe like most Chinese Stories so I don't really mind if you try including that here...

The story is off to a strong start, it kept me hooked with each chapter. The mystery and crime elements are well done, with just enough clues to keep you guessing. There’s also a hint of horror that adds tension and makes some scenes extra creepy. The main character is interesting, and you can feel her fear and curiosity as she digs deeper into the crime. So far, it’s shaping up to be a great read to me
