[8th place in Werewolf Competition, 2022] [CAUTION: RATED 18: NO RAPE] Is it believably possible to love a man who's been rejected by all women? Leia is sold in the name of marriage to the most controversial man in the nation in exchange for monetary favors; Mr. Adrik Avalanzo, the scarred one.  He is rumored to be a hideous and fearless beast covered in scars, both physically and emotionally. His appearance is enough to chase off women. Even though he is the wealthiest, whom many envy, they consider him a plague. Thrust into a loveless marriage, how would a pridefully stubborn, hot-headed girl like Leia deal with him? And how would he deal with her? Will he try to dominate her? Or woo her passionately?  Will Leia accept him despite his physical deformity? Will she get past her pride? Her short temper? Or even untie the knot she'd tied over her heart to accept him? Will their marriage turn out to be one that all the people of high society envy? Or could this marriage be the subsequent tragedy of the century? ______________ The cover is not mine and belongs to its rightful owner. the owner's credit Follow me on Instagram @angellily_draws i

Peak novel. romance doesn't play a major part in the plot in the beginning, but oh boy does it become a major plot point in later chapters

This has a light and innocent feeling. If you are addicted to action, mystery, or are a drama enthusiast, then this might bore you so much that it feels like your brain will melt out of your ears. It revolves around 5th graders and how they perceive and interact with the new changes in their bodies, their attraction to others, and the arrival of a new sibling as their mother is having a baby. I believe writing this type of story requires talent. It's challenging for an adult to realistically portray young characters, but I feel that this author has succeeded. The scenarios and reactions were believable yet felt fresh. Saya's character particularly intrigued me; it was unexpected but made me feel warm. It seemed like there were two stories intertwined. The second one isn't finished, but it already includes an alien, brings up a dead twin, and still maintains the same tone. I am very fond of this second story because I love the significance of twins and siblings, and I also cherish childhood friendships where both parties tease each other. Overall, I found this enjoyable and heartwarming.

Actually, this is a collection of eight distinct stories. Each volume presents its own narrative, focusing on a girl named Tsubomi who is nearing the end of elementary school. She navigates various facets of growing up and experiences her first love, all while her life undergoes changes due to supernatural or sci-fi circumstances. Every book is unique, yet they all delve deeply into discussions about how girls' and boys' bodies change, the journey of first love, and the risks posed by older predators. The series features elements such as astral projection, alien encounters, magic pens that bring drawings to life, more instances of astral projection, time travel, body swapping, a girl being haunted by a boy, and an android.

If you have a fondness for puppy love, this series will likely be an enjoyable read. With each volume offering something different, you can find a variety of love stories—whether you prefer tales with clear conclusions or ambiguous endings, love triangles or singular romances, relationships between strangers or childhood friends. However, be aware that, given its emphasis on the process of growing up, the stories also include extensive discussions on all aspects of puberty alongside the romantic narratives.
