Noya Eiji is born into this world. As a war orphan, he is taken in by one of the kingdoms and wanders through life, unsure of his purpose, merely trying to survive day by day without becoming entangled in the conflicts between kingdoms. He remembers his mother's last words: "Be a good boy who survives rather than become strong and be consumed by the world's pain, suffering, and darkness!"

Author's Note:

The main character of this novel tends to be more passive. While the protagonist has some advantages, he won't be overpowered to the extent of effortlessly defeating anyone. You might find the story boring, and it's perfectly fine not to like it. However, I hope you do enjoy it.
