Shadows of the Yamataikoku

In the dark forests of Mount Tsubaki, Shiro, known as the Wolf of the Hidden Clans, is a battle-scarred shinobi on a path of vengeance and redemption. Bound by duty to his slain lord, Shiro is tasked with retrieving the legendary Blade of Tsukuyomi, an ancient sword said to hold the power to sever the bonds between the worlds of the living and the dead. Forged by the gods and hidden within the mystical, long-lost kingdom of Yamataikoku, the blade is guarded by spirits and curses left by Queen Himiko, a sorceress whose magic once ruled the realm.

With a prosthetic arm embedded with ancient tools and spirit-channeling talismans, Shiro journeys alone into the heart of Yamataikoku. Along the way, he encounters masked spirits, ancient guardians, and forces far beyond mortal understanding. Guided by mysterious prophecies and haunted by his own past, he must confront both the supernatural and his own inner darkness if he hopes to survive and wield the sword’s power. But as he delves deeper, Shiro discovers that the Blade of Tsukuyomi demands more than blood—it seeks to consume the very soul of its bearer.

As his final battle approaches, Shiro must choose between vengeance and freedom. Will he fulfill his oath, even if it costs him his humanity, or find a way to break the cycle of death and honor that binds him?
