Actually people say it's the anime that doesn't live up to the standard of the ln and specially manga. Though I find the ln a bit too unnecessarily detailed. But it's good I'd say.
I don't understand why people in the comments are so disgusted by the yaoi tag.
It's just weird because you don't see us commenting on your harem/hentai novels like "the summary was good but it's straight romance so i won't read it."
