Although the narrative of "Steal Moon" is indeed original, I can't help but feel it could have been executed with greater finesse.  

When I initially discovered the manga, my thoughts were along the lines of, "Oh, cool, street battles, peep shows, drama..." Not once did anyone hint at the sci-fi dimension of the story. In reality, the plot centers on something entirely different from what the synopsis suggests! So, if the summary intrigues you and makes you consider giving it a try, bear in mind that this series leans heavily into sci-fi and occasionally delves into high-tech themes.  

The artwork is decent, and most characters are visually distinct from one another. However, I struggled with Kai and Coyote—they're practically identical twins, and their solo conversations became confusing.  

There isn't much to discuss regarding the characters. It almost feels like the author(ess?) prioritized the storyline over character development. While there are numerous characters, fortunately, their names and appearances are relatively easy to recall.  

In conclusion, I'm uncertain if I truly enjoyed the series as a whole. The romance felt somewhat contrived, and there wasn't much of it. I wish the writer had invested more effort into crafting the story, as this would have made it far more engaging. My lasting impression is that I'll remember this tale for its complex plot hidden beneath a superficial exterior.

This book was awesome! It says there will be a sequel and I can’t find if it’s written yet or not but I can’t wait!
