For one, this isn't actually a romance novel. Instead this novel is completely serious mystery-thriller/horror genre. Which is brilliant really. Doubly so when the system's main function is one of those revive systems (loading into previous save point.) However the characterisation of the protagonist is unreasonable. So unreasonable that it's just down-right annoying. The author has the protagonist become better (in mental capacity, critical thinking, and power) by 1% every time he dies. So even after 8 deaths the protagonist doesn't really change much. Sure the author describes that he has changed (using terms like mental plasticity), but in reality? He doesn't. Worse, the improvements are maybe evident for one chapter, with the protagonist himself bashing his own naivety, and then...? He regresses into an idiot again. He repeats the same mistakes. He plays the hero to the same consequences. This protagonist is a marvel of poor characterisation.

honestly the novel said it's pretty good premise. nothing bad really happens when it comes to story progression or anything it doesn't feel rushed it doesn't feel forced, the majority of the side characters feel like they truly do have a personality and a couple of the ones who we think are going to be a one-off character end up sticking around or coming back for more chapters it's an interesting book. the author clearly took his time and knew what he was writing. one thing I like is that it's explained that the main character comes from a regular Earth he's never killed anyone doesn't have any aggression nothing like that, I don't know where he kills a bunch of people and he doesn't feel any remorse or regret and you think it's very jarring because how did he have a sudden personality change. but once he takes off the mask that is making him level-headed and suppressing the majority of his emotions he feels everything at once. it shows that the main character is still himself and that there's also demerits to the supposedly omnipotent gear he's wearing which is another piece of a novel I like. also the whole point of this novel is building up in academy and having its Prestige known throughout the lands. the system enforces that and it goes well with the story. you inherit the strongest magic Academy from ancient times that's Fallen under weather due to the fact that it's been closed down and the system you have that wants you to rebuild the academy forces you to stick to the academy and not treat it as a side job. really interesting cuz a lot of these novels that sound interesting where they have some kind of business that they're forced to maintain in their system revolves around it eventually fall out of the business or deal and make the character go to a generic cultivation novel but this hasn't happened and it doesn't seem like it'll happen so I give it a 10 out of 10. might change it later might not who knows I just know it's really good so far and I didn't see a lot of reviews and I thought
The plot is going to be very scary I am reading this novel for a while and I don't know why but he deleted all the chapters and reposting them with some changes.Believe me you're gonna like it very much.
