Synopsis:
Lin Nan, a battlefield doctor of the new century, was blown back to the famine years of the 1980s by a bomb.
The original body’s father didn’t care for her, her mother didn’t love her, and she was weak and incompetent. To make matters worse, she had a cousin who had been reborn with memories of a previous life—using that knowledge to get into university and becoming the apple of the family’s eye.
To protect the cousin’s reputation, the family didn’t hesitate to sacrifice Lin Nan’s own name, even going so far as to smother her to death.
Lin Nan sneered: “Absurd relatives, get lost. From today, we split the family!”
In these times, famine ravaged the nation. Corpses of the starved lay across the land; nothing could grow.
But she had once been a battlefield doctor, with five years of survival experience in the wild. She had braved bullets and artillery fire without fear!
Grabbing a machete, she marched into the mountains—hunting badgers, wild boars, catching perch, digging sweet potatoes… living off the mountains and waters.
