Out of countless Souls, ten were chosen to be reborn as Monsters into the Higher World.
A World much different than ours, filled with Demons, Devils, and Mythical Creatures.
Ten Chosen Souls, Ten Chosen Candidates. For what they are Candidates, remains a mystery.
\"Weaklings shouldn\'t worry about such things.\"
Indeed, only the strong can survive, which is why, for ten Candidates, ten Dungeons were built.
Raise your strength, get used to how things operate in a World of Monsters, and perhaps you, then, will be worthy of the answers you seek.
One of those Candidates had been given, in his previous life, the name Mark.
But such a name doesn\'t mean much.
After all, he is, in this Higher World, better known by his Titles.
The Devourer & The Evolving Monster.

The story truly reads like an anime/show. I love the MC and the growth of the characters so far. Although I do hope that Light gets a little more love here soon. The story isn’t exactly original but the use of these “titles” are unique in a way and I think that the author is getting better at painting nice vivid mental images when needed. Side character perspective are nice also. I’ve read a little under 140 chapters and I’m hooked. Only things I would like to critique but not really is for the auther not to over look certain detail like items, powers, or emotions when going forwards in the story. We remember everything that happens or doesn’t happen. Keep up the good work. Also please throw Light a bone lol

    Romance? Yes.
    Harem? Still no.
    Existential Dread? Yes.
    Identity Crises? Yes.
    OP? Yesn't.
The second volume focuses a lot on the characters, who they are, their past, and their interactions with one another.
If you expect non-stop Devouring and Evolving, this might not be to your tastes. (Something that should have been made clear before the second volume)
Also, my favorite genre is Seinen so... Yeah. That's the general vibe I am going with.
Character interactions and development are very important to me, so I don't plan on skipping or cutting them short(for the most part).
Also, I'm big on foreshadowing and callbacks. So if something doesn't seem to make sense, it will. I can only hope that my writing will be good enough to bring out the novel's potential!
Hope that clears some stuff up, as I wouldn't like any of you to feel frustrated from the novel not being what you're looking for.
And with that, happy reading all!

It's a surprisingly good novel. I was expecting it to be a very Please share a system novel that doesn't add anything to itself. I was very happily surprised when reading this that it Took multiple different twists and turns and hardly followed cliche's period I can't recommend this book enough and honestly if it had even more chapters. I would love it even more. But now I have to sit here and wait. 3 or 4 months so I can get a good stock pile to start reading. And it's gonna be torturous, but it's worth it.

The beginning is a bit boring and banal, but over time (quite quickly) it gains depth and evolves like MC.
The characters are lively and interesting, the world: the more you learn about it, the more you want to know.
The whole novel is very pleasant, the only thing that bothers me a lot is Elisa, I'm not talking about the character but rather about her negative impact on the MC, in my opinion, and I think his titles would agree with me hah.

great story so far! mc def frustrated me a bit in the begining because of his 'idiocy', which got a very good reason layer down the line.spoiler alert:really like the esteregg with gaavah being pride in hebrew (:
