    All I can say is
    I love the drama!
But I don't like the ending; it feels too abrupt and a bit like an open ending.
It's such a pity that there's no extra content about the system and its new friend.
If you enjoy drama, you might just like this.

It... could have been better. The author has a talent for capturing interest with their writing style, and the translator is excellent, but some of the arcs end abruptly, leaving you feeling unsatisfied. Additionally, the main character is rather uncaring, which made it hard for me to connect with the plot and its characters.

The story is good, following a familiar pattern seen in many BL transmigration novels, particularly concerning the blackening of the main character or love interest. However, I found the ending to be quite rushed, almost too hasty.

    *Spoiler*
It ends with a happy ending (HE).

There are plot holes in the story, which, while common in some narratives, could have been better addressed for clarity. If the ending had been more polished and the plot holes resolved, I would have given the story a solid 5. Despite these issues, it was still a good read, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new BL novel.

The translation is ongoing, so I decided to go with machine translation (MTL) for now.

, I’d give this a 3.8/5, which rounds up to 4/5. Give this a chance; it’s actually quite good. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the ending and how it compared to the mission worlds they traveled through.

Just a heads-up, the main character (MC) is a bit of a scumbag who’s heartless. He sleeps with you and then tosses you aside. This becomes more understandable in the real world arc, but I still felt uncomfortable with how the MC handles emotions.

Don’t be misled—this isn’t a light-hearted read. There’s more drama and angst than you might expect. The emotional turmoil in the first world is nothing compared to what follows, and I actually cried. This might be because I don’t usually read a lot of angst novels, so take my reaction with a grain of salt.

    **ML’s Identity:**
    Spoiler:
He’s data that escaped from the worlds, known as 'Zero.' I believe he was also one of the boyfriends our scumbag MC had.

    **Regarding the Ending:**
    Spoiler:
The ending is somewhat underwhelming when you consider the journey of the ML and MC. While it’s understandable given that the MC never truly received genuine affection in his world, especially from his neglectful mother, it still left me feeling disappointed after all the angst. I’m glad that the ML stayed with the MC in the real world, even though he doesn’t fully understand human emotions. Despite being data, he tried to understand and showed that he loves the MC and won’t abandon him.

The MC’s family, particularly his mother, were disappointing. The real world arc is too short and doesn’t thoroughly explore the MC’s suffering, which led to his current state. While some of this is briefly touched upon in the real world arc, it’s not enough. The MC himself doesn’t understand what love is or how to handle emotions, so perhaps they are a perfect match in their own way. I wish there were extras or side stories showing the MC and ML’s life after they got together, considering how short the real world arc is, but we have to make do with what we have.

The MC really annoyed me. He seemed so heartless, especially since he played with people's feelings. This was evident when he returned to his original world and cycled through boyfriends as if they were disposable. I didn’t like how he just left the ML behind. The way the arcs concluded was very unsatisfying, and the ending was just terrible. I have no idea what the author was thinking while writing it; it made no sense at all.

4/10 — I would probably not recommend this.

Not really my cup of tea.

The translator did a great job.

Kinda sad. I really wanted to like this novel. It’s very short, but I didn’t care much for the main character (MC).

The MC just seems really fake to me. I understand that he’s an actor playing a role, but he comes across as overly carefree and only concerned with earning points. To him, it feels like everything is just a game.

Even in scenes that are meant to be tragic, they fall flat because the MC doesn’t seem to genuinely care. Maybe that’s part of his act, but it’s hard to tell. Initially, he says he doesn’t care about leaving the world, but then he shows a bit of sadness. Who knows if that was real or just another performance?

I just couldn’t connect with him.

Additionally, the plot moves at a very fast pace, especially the romantic arc. I’m used to more gradual build-ups, often spanning around 100 chapters.

Anyway, this is just my opinion. I know a lot of people enjoy this novel, so I’d still recommend giving it a read to see if it’s something you like.

    Happy reading!

The novel is an okay read if you're looking for something to pass the time. It follows a Shou who travels through different worlds to prevent Gong from becoming evil. In each world, Gong despises Shou and wants to kill him, but Shou, being a pro at his job, doesn’t let it bother him. By the end of each arc, Shou always manages to show Gong that his hatred is misplaced.

Each story arc has a compelling narrative, but they all have tragic endings. This is because, after completing his tasks, Shou leaves the world immediately, which essentially means he dies in that world. There’s only one instance where he stays for a few years because his system insists on it, to prevent the main character from becoming too obsessed with him. That’s my understanding from the machine-translated version, anyway.

I feel like the ending is a bit rushed. It’s unclear whether Shou truly loves Gong or if he just agreed to be with him to give the story a happy ending. Still, it’s a good read for yaoi fans like me.

The story is truly captivating. Proof? I read it in one sitting.

There are only five arcs (including the real world), which didn't take too long to get through, despite each chapter being quite lengthy.

    Pairs for the arcs:
    - Arc 1: Mafia Boss x Pet Lover
    - Arc 2: Reborn Boyfriend x Boyfriend
    - Arc 3: Puppet Emperor (Nephew) x King Regent (Uncle)
    - Arc 4: Maniac Perverted Psychopathic Serial Killer x Childhood Friend/Obsession
    - Arc 5 (Real World): Main System's Broken Mental Data x President of a Gaming Company

As the previous commenter mentioned, the ending is a bit abrupt but still concludes satisfactorily, and all the stories are incredibly engaging.
