“I shall not yield to fate nor destiny. I will create my legacy.” Yang Wei said as he stared at the clear blue sky.

Yang Wei, a mortal who has no background or power to become a cultivator except for his undying determination. An unwillingness to accept his fate as he will break away the chain that casts him behind.

In a world where spiritual qi exists, humans can utilize this power to cultivate and become a legend themselves. However, the path itself is gruesome and achieved through multiple obstacles.

Now it’s the time for Yang Wei to achieve something that no other predecessor has done in the past.

I was really enjoying this novel at the beginning. The mc was not swayed by beauty and while it is expected that love interests would come along, the way the character developed is terrible.

Every female that is stronger than him plays with him like he is a toy. He has not backbone, helps women who scheme against him, and just caves in to anything females want. He forgives females pretty much instantly, while a male would get the most humiliating treatment.

If you are looking to read a novel with one of the biggest simps on this platform, this is for you. Otherwise, avoid this like the plague. This review is at chapter 188.

The beginning if the novel was good, but from the start of the meeting with the senior of another era, it has go down form my view. The next thing is that he has not the right behavior of his yung body and the middel old soul. The last think ist the fast cultivation tempo of the boy with the badest spirtroot of the world. (With no extra things for cultivation.)(Logic???)

    *Glimpse of initial chapters.*

    GOOD POINTS:
    - Likeable MC
    - Not extremely poverty stricken, MC has some saving and stuff to support himself
    - Weak to strong trope is executed well
    - MC can think, he observes and doesn't go round being bullied physically (verbally, yes)
    - You don't have to cringe because MC is dumb, because he isn't
    - Expect beasts, Qi cultivation, maybe realms too, and lots of action
    - Some realistic elements are also depicted because we spot corruption, injustice, torture,  bullying, conspiracies too

    WEAKNESS:
    - The narration style is highly 'telling' rather than 'showing'
    - Author's omnipresent tone is everywhere, which gave lesser screen and insights to the character
    - Readable novel, though there are tense fluctuations
    - Some information is repeated, such as chapter 2 and 3 has repeated info about Meng Yan.

I’ve read to the latest chapters (200+)

Starts off great, and while you think of the setting and characters cliche at first, be prepared to be surprised.

Author uses cliches very creatively and in ways you don’t expect.

Characters are very well fleshed out and interactions are fun and very interesting to read about.

Although the pacing of the story was a bit slow at some point in the early chapters, it picks up later on.

Great female characters and MC. Initially MC may seem to be quite typical focused on being strong type of character, but this changes as more about his past is revealed and he’s much more than that. He is no way dense but rather smart in a few ways (but could be dumb in others), so the relationships progress at a very satisfying pace.

    Definitely try this out.

This novel is amazingly balanced, the MC is not some unique character from the start and his beginning is humble but realistic.

the women in this novel are his golden finger, Mr.author simply gives the MC an understanding and honest personality in expressing his feelings and thoughts, and the most important thing is his ability to catch the attention of powerful women even when he does nothing to gain their attention,(the fanny part is the fact that those women know this and talked about.)

The best part of this novel is the balance in relationships between the MC and his women (2 until this moment), for once he is not a useless man that his women help to clean the troubles he makes because he is mature enough to understand when he should retreat and when he needs to advance, also his first wife (the main heroin for the first 250 chapter and the one who helped the MC from the start until he gets his second woman around chapter 230) is very powerful but not omnipotent, she needed the MC emotional support more than anything and this was the main reason for accepting the MC as her husband, she simply suffered so much that if the MC betray her then she would choose to suicide than to live with her shattered heart, also she is very smart and supportive and on top of that, she has enough wisdom to guide the ignorant MC in his first shaky steps and help him in adapting for the cultivation world.

Other than the amazing relationship between the MC and Elder Jing (1st wife) and his clear attitude toward other women, you will find the plot in this novel quite unexpected for this kind of novel, I don't want to spoil anything because this is not some generic cliches and it will be your loss if someone spoiled it for you, after all, it's rare to find this kind of novel.

Another good point about this novel is that you will not find small plots everywhere but there is always a bigger role for everything that happened in the PoV of the MC with barely any useless filler, seriously I read 250 chapters and I still find it hard to find a clear filler or unimportant events, I can even say that there is only one plotline from chapter 1 until chapter 250 and it still going.

In the end, what I am telling is that you will not be disappointed in the MC and will be not disappointed in the Harem and will be not disappointed in the plotline and will be not disappointed in the development of the novel.

anyway, if there is something negative about this novel then it will be the poor world background and the moments when Mr.author changes his mind regarding some things and then change it immediately inside the novel without any consideration for the previous chapters.

other than this, I can not remember any negative points, because I was busy feeling good and happy to read this novel.

Thanks for writing this novel, Mr.author.

A wise man once said, "When life gives you lemon, you make lemonade."

But lemonade also takes water and sugar to make. In this world Yang Wei doesn't even have the resources needed to cultivate to the Gods. I'm interested to know how this story progresses. Maybe he will start a green cultivation technique like all the green technology we have but in an Eastern cultivation world? Maybe he will simply recycle. Better still, he will sell lemons to all the greedy cultivators and take their resources!

Whichever path Yang Wei chooses, you should read on to find out!

Note: Completely biased review. I had nothing better to do and was just trying to meme hard. I probably failed but whatever. Memeing is hard.
