Plan B for Destiny

When the chosen one meets an untimely (and frankly, embarrassing) demise, all eyes turn to their unremarkable sidekick, Sam. Armed with little more than a sharp wit, a knack for sarcasm, and a glowing artifact they barely know how to use, Sam is thrust into the role of reluctant hero.

But saving the world isn’t as straightforward as the prophecies made it sound. The kingdom is in shambles, the antagonist is three steps ahead, and the “team of loyal allies” consists of a disgraced knight, a kleptomaniac rogue, a cynical scholar, and a pacifist healer with secrets of their own.

As Sam bumbles through quests, battles, and far too many near-death experiences, they begin to realize that being a hero isn’t about fulfilling a prophecy - it’s about rewriting it. With danger closing in and the fate of the world on their shoulders, Sam must decide: can an ordinary sidekick really become the hero the world needs, or is it time for a Plan B for Destiny?
