Not Unique

Ever imagined what it's like to be a zombie?
Do you truly feel nothing? Are you just a mindless creature that randomly attacks anyone or anything?
On a typical day in Canada, everyone is busy preparing for Thanksgiving Day and all have gone to sleep, exhausted. When there's a virus outbreak that infects the world killing millions of people in less than 24. All over the world, all at once. What happens when these people start to rise like zombies?
This is not your typical zombie apocalypse novel, these zombies can run twice as fast, they can climb, they can feel and they can LEARN. What happens when these zombies start to evolve, but humans just remain...stagnant? Unmoving.
But then a group of mysterious people, with no information on their existence comes and can run four times faster, they can carry a truck with no difficulty and for some reason, zombies don't seem to attack them.
Now throw a bunch of snot-nosed teenagers into this world, for them to navigate their way in the apocalypse and navigate their feelings.
For you to remain sane you have to go insane. Lucky for one of our characters, she's already insane. Maybe Zombies aren't the monsters.
