I was expecting a webnovel but found real literature instead.

If the rest of the book lives up to the first 30 chapters then it'll be the best webnovel on this site, hands down.

Well I can't really do much of a review based on the description but I hope this book doesn't become the typical CN novel we usually get.

Zzzzzz  heck no idea what's going on wid the story, it's boring and made me tablet which I was holding up face slapped me coz I fell asleep while reading

Some people may enjoy reading chapters with 80-90% world and miscellaneous descriptions while only 10% is character action/dialogue. However, my patience is not at that level. The whole 50+ chapters I've read so far could have been easily shrunk to about 10. With that said, this author's writing style definitely depicts every situation well enough for your imagination to fill in a full picture. Unfortunately, that makes story progression drunk-snail slow. Chapters go on and on about side characters and information only relevant for the next 3-5 chapters. Perhaps this sort of super-detailed story telling is your thing...but I'm tired of skimming text looking for important details to avoid growing a beard while reading.

Alright guys settle down, this is not some cheap thrills and instant fight novels like your typical xianxia. It has more poetic and descriptive style, immersive at best and dragging at worst.

Some people might said its deep and immersive. Like me. Some people might think its boring and pretentious. Well everybody is entitled to their opinion anyways.

This story has steady pacing, detailed world building and deep characterization. The only bad side is the update speed I guess, its not fast enough lol.

Story is interesting but ztj is still this author pinnacle so i give it 4 star.

Despite some negative reviews currently, I decided to give this a try. I was not disappointed, I had to power through the first two chapters, but I am now ready for more chapters. The story is slow, but the characters and my interest in seeing the protagonist progres is what is currently keeping me addicted. If you can deal with the fact that the story is slow compared to others, and get past the first 2-3 chapters, you will start to see the promise the story has, even only 22 chapters in.

I quit after the first chapter and i finish it with great difficulty.
I dont think to continue to read this novel, i like other style of writhing the story.

This story is not for those who enjoy a fast paced, guilty pleasure harem novel, and skip from novel to novel to find anything to gawk at for having a ‘badass, cold and ruthless’ MC, who is just a kid trying to look cool in reality.

There are a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, it is fine now, but it is still prevalent in the earlier chapters.

Stability of Updates: 5/5
2 chapters a day since day 1, with not a single minute of delay throughout.

Story Development: 5/5
Those who enjoy fast-paced novels won’t be a big fan of this. This novel is the most well thought out novel on qidian by a long shot. The author isn’t scared to take his time, and it is AMAZING!!! The MC can’t cultivate at the start, only at chapter 1?? can he do so, but as a fan of cultivation stories, this story has BY FAR THE BEST START OF A NOVEL and IT’S QUALITY DOES THE OPPOSITE OF DECLINING.

Character Design: 5/5
BEST CHARACTERS ON QIDIAN, you could pick any random character from this story, and make a novel on them that would be a big hit. They all feel so realistic and fleshed out, that you can’t help but wonder in awe in how the author wrote them so well. The MC is amazing, and DESPITE HAVING SUCH DETAILED AND REALISTIC CHARACTERS, YOU STILL FEEL HE IS THE MOST INTERESTING.

World Background: 5/5
Phenomenal. The world has a clear and rich history better than any other. The history feels like a real history that could happen in our world, except a few people have some small powers. Not much to say, just brilliant.
