In a world driven by relentless competition, one man sets his sights on the pinnacle of success. In this innovative VRMMORPG, he vows to ascend to the highest rank at any cost.

The classes, races, starting zones—every element of 'New Eden' remains shrouded in mystery. The game launches with no detailed information, promoting only the unparalleled freedom in skill selection.

Alexander, known by his gamer tag Astaroth, has always aspired to be an E-Sports athlete. His parents supported his dream, but they are no longer alive. Determined to honor their memory, Alexander is set on making his mark in this new game.

With no clear plan for his character's development, Alexander opts for the most enigmatic starting race. Will this choice lead him to triumph or doom? The game assistant seems convinced it will be the latter.

"Do as you wish, young adventurer. Just remember, I warned you. Don't come back complaining when you realize you've made the wrong choice," the elf said, his eyes filled with disdain.

"We'll see about that," Alexander replied coolly. "I thrive on challenges," he added.

"Very well!" the elf harrumphed. "May your adventure be memorable, however brief it may be," he said sarcastically.

Before him lies a path fraught with trials and tribulations. But one thing is certain in his mind: he will become the strongest player in the game, even if it means overcoming insurmountable odds.

No more working hard for nothing; now it's time to either make it or break it!

Nobodies mentioning it so I’m going to. This story suffers in only one way and that’s the social interactions. They feel very childlike and basic. Also the mc has some annoying traits as far as social interactions go and it’s off putting. Otherwise it’s a decent read.

I stopped at around 80. Too many dumb things happen not to mention the CONSTANT POV changes thought the story. How are you supposed to focus on the story when every other chapter is about different characters that have literally no impact on the story as it is now. When the mc made an absolutely insane deal I just couldn't read anymore. Who in their right mind would make a deal where he owed an open ended favor to not just 1 person, but 4. The worst part is that what he got in return was nowhere near worth it. The story had my attention at the beginning but just got more difficult to enjoy. The story is probably good but it hit every little thing that I hate to see in a novel.

This review is at chapter 70~ (minor spoilers) Honestly, this novel is pretty good and I suggest giving it a read, but it most definitely isn't for everyone. All the bases of a good novel are hit like a good power system, interesting concept, lots of things to be discovered, etc.) The more glaring issue, and honestly why some people will drop this novel, is the MC.

To put is plainly, the MC is more or less an idiot consistently. For some reason, the author makes him 25 years old when his actions are more in line with someone who is around 16. He constantly craves validation yet acts like a man child several times. To top it off, in a tournament, for reasons purely chalked up to plot contrivance, doesn't kill two of his enemies. The author excuses this by saying he isn't focused on killing but exploring and seeing new things. That doesn't make any sense because...you know... he is literally in a pvp tournament and used to be top 1% in a pvp centered game. I will keep reading because I hope, maybe naively, that the MC won't stay a complete idiot for long and the rest of the novel is pretty cool.

I highly recommend reading this novel and here's why:

It's writing quality is at a professional level and it makes the reading quite enjoyable. It's clear and non reiterative. This author's creativity is also off the charts!
    It completely exceeded my expectations!

For anyone out there trying to find a good read, this is definitely worth the while.

(as a plus, you won't end with less neurons after reading it)

the novel is interesting, but the mc is a little dumb. He's literally in a tournament, with his enemy held by the throat. And instead of killing her, he simply waste time talking, until she kicked his balls and fled.
and in the chapter 50 +/- the side chapters begin to get more frequents.

Ok. First of all, I don't want to offend the author with this review. Secondly, I'm going to review the first 20 chapters. With that said I'm implying that the book will surely improve in future chapters, as the author gets experience but judging by the first 20 Ch I have to say I didn't like this. First, the fact that the MC wants at all costs become a pro player is stupid, at least in my opinion. I don't think some people would really want to try a path with no certainties in a situation where he has no money and doesn't know how to survive. Aside from that, the story itself is nothing new. Aside from the fact that the MC chose a difficult race, there is nothing innovative here. The world-building seems pretty standard, again nothing new. The fact that the MC meets the weapon trainer and the mage "trainer" at the beginning already points to where the author wants to go, but it is another clichè, even the I Got the Masters is a whole clichè. As for the plot itself, where does it lead? What is it that makes it different from other books? Then, the writing quality. Ok, there are not many grammatical errors, yet the MC talks in a weird way with the NPCs, in a totally different way from real life and different compared to how he talks IRL. Then, the fights: essentially Here is the enemy, here is the enemy status, here is a couple of skills, enemy felled. It is rather simple. Notice: This is just my personal opinion. I'm by no means trying to offend or saying my words are absolute. This is an opinion. Feel free to disagree and to read.
