Synopsis: Bai Lu’s life was full of misfortune. She lost her husband in her youth and her son in her middle age. After painstakingly raising her grandson, she was heartlessly kicked out of the house by him and his wife in her old age. She ended up surviving by scavenging for trash—a truly miserable existence.
