The novel has a promising start to what looks to be an exciting and engaging novel. The author has created a compelling cast of characters, a rich and detailed fantasy world, and a thrilling plot that is sure to keep readers on the edge of their seats. I look forward to reading the rest of the novel and seeing how Seraphina's story unfolds.
First few chapters gave me the urge to read more. I like Baldwin character, the character building is good. I'm curious on what's next to come on next chapters.
As expected from Sandkastle, this book, like her previous ones, is excellent. I love how Zeno is trying unsuccessfully to be unsuccessful—he is literally failing at failing. I also appreciate the ironic comments that mirror real-world situations, along with the humorous, quirky details that, while not directly related to the plot, enhance the book's charm.
