I don't know how this story has such a high rating, I have multiple books I read directly from authors websites where they publish their chapters themselves off any platform, I read several books from a couple random translators from writers who self publish on their own websites in japanese, and I read several books on here where apparently not a single writer has english as a first language, and this is by far the worst english I have ever seen, so many sentences don't make ANY sense, or have any meaning whatsoever because they are so butchered, I'm not willing to slog through when so many of the comments on reviews are talking about how terrible the grammar stays even past the 1000 chapter point, I sent a friend request on discord because I am a native English speaker, a writer myself, and willing to edit the story, because the base seems like it's an interesting story, I just can't tell for sure cause it's making my eyes bleed and giving me migraines trying to read it.
Post 75+ chapter binge review.First, I don't think I've made as many intra chapter comments for one story as I have today. I've been thinking about this and I think that's a reflection of my engagement with a story. And some of these elements which elicit commentary include humor, interesting plot points, and relatable characters. Which is to say that although yes, this is a sports-themed novel with some pretty standard elements (physical/skills growth, tournaments, etc.), and less than perfect editing notwithstanding, this story really has a way of drawing you in as a reader and engaging you. This is self-published work and the author doesn't appear to be a professional. But he has taken one important storytelling tip to heart and that is "Write about what you know". It's so obvious that the author not only has a very passionate and knowledgeable perspective on basketball, but it is clear that many things he is able to write about comes from personal experience. But at the end of the day all of it just comes together with good storytelling - there are interesting characters, moments of levity balanced against thoughtfulness, adequate ******* and release, and a pretty good pace to story development. Either way, I'm engaged and looking forward to following this story for a long time. Mad respect to the author for his efforts.
This isnt a villain novel dont get baited, mc is just ruthless but even that its only to ppl who provoke him. Hes a system slave, completely dependant on it and its powers. The 'protags' are more evil than the mc himself. In recent chapters its gone with the cliche 'I will make you my woman' route zzzzzzzz. The mc is just a young master, slapping faces and dispensing righteousness. Author seems to think that just because someone goes against an individual labelled the 'protag' it means they are a villain, dissapointing.
nice plz dont stop villan type novel are rare nowdays .........................................................................................................
It's a good story and amazing plot . Looking for emotional storyline , go for it .Your will enjoy it upto me. A voice against child harassment.Look everybody is not perfect , so writer is , if u are here to leave bad comment
Honestly, this novel is a gem. I've only ever found a couple of other novels that were this good, and I've read many. I'm sad that there aren't hundreds of chapters, but I guess that just means I'm early to the bandwagon. I hope the author gets a lot more support from others so this novel can keep going strong.
