BUD, BUD!! To anyone considering reading this then please do. The MC is better than most in this situation. Like ish. But it’s still captivating. And the translation is so thorough and easy to read. Not only easy it hits you in the feels where as most translations don’t achieve that.I’m looking forward to the end of this story and also more from this translator. I read up to chapter 200 and dropped. For anyone reading this, expect a lot of plot holes and inconsistencies. For example, the protagonist is an orfan( since i think it was 5) who lived in a cruel world where the strong prey on the weak, and he managed, somehow, survive to late teens when he enrolls in an academy. You might expect him to be someone more careful, decisive, who values the things and opportunities he got and THINKS BEFORE HE ACTS, but you would be wrong. He is as much of a young master as the actual young masters of the stories, with the only 3 differences being his lack of etiquite, his"moral" standing and a money obsessed personality. There are times when the plot armor is so obvious and thick that i wonder why didnt the author just straight up write "plot armor here". The only decent things are fights descriptions and the writing. The story is just an amalgamation of every possible cultivation novel cliche you can think of.
