As an avid reader, "My Buildings Mutated" left a profound impression on me. The narrative weaved a captivating tapestry of architectural metamorphosis, seamlessly blending science fiction with existential themes. The protagonist's journey to confront the inexplicable mutations in their urban landscape was both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. The author's creative imagination breathed life into the mundane, turning buildings into characters in their own right. A must-read for those who crave unique storytelling and a fresh take on urban dystopias.

"My Buildings Mutated" is a thought-provoking and imaginative novel that invites readers to embark on a journey through the lens of architectural metamorphosis. The author ingeniously weaves together elements of science fiction, environmentalism, and personal introspection, creating a narrative that challenges our perceptions of urban spaces and the relationship between humans and their built environment.

At its core, the story highlights the symbiotic and transformative nature of architecture, as structures evolve beyond their initial designs, reflecting the desires, fears, and dreams of those who inhabit them. This metaphorical mutation serves as a metaphor for societal change and the ever-evolving nature of human experiences. The characters grapple with the consequences and implications of these transformations, forcing them to confront their own roles in shaping the world around them.

The novel also touches upon themes of identity, memory, and the impact of technology on our connection to physical reality. It prompts readers to ponder the blurred lines between the tangible and intangible, asking whether our buildings truly have a life of their own or if they merely mirror our collective consciousness.

In a human tone, "My Buildings Mutated" is an engaging and thought-provoking read that encourages empathy and introspection. It reminds us that the spaces we inhabit not only shape our daily lives but also play a profound role in shaping who we are. By exploring the boundaries between the real and the imagined, the author leaves readers with a sense of wonder and a renewed appreciation for the stories embedded within the walls we call home.

I’m lamenting at the missed opportunity for naming the mc “Bob”. If the mc had been named Bob, then...

So I cannot review the translation quality of a story with no chapters but I managed to find the raw and read up to chapter 44. However, based on the fact that he's called "Smith" and not Chen Ling worries me that the translator is going to @#$% this story up like another recent story and try to make him American.

Based on the raws so far :

Story is pretty interesting and bland at the same time. The main character starts off pretty decently, but at a certain point the construction and general effort that goes into his business is left in the hands of others and he becomes a salted fish only responsible for the attributes.

That aside, the attribute business and how that all has been handled so far was very interesting to me. So despite the salted fish of a MC, I'm hoping to see this story released and translated properly.

Fair warning : There may end up being some nationalism/racism in this novel. The dude builds stuff that have attributes, this does not go unnoticed. Foreign countries do seem to be getting involved and the MC does start being overseen in a way by his own government. It's obvious the MC is going to support China. This may be why translators are switching nationalities of MCs when they translate recently, so it'll be Americans being racist and not Chinese.

At first it was interesting but as the Novel goes on it just becomes more and more stupid.
Mc and all the other people was such a low IQ  that it just makes me feel as if it is to forced.
I hope there is a Author with the same Novel idea but takes the Novel more serious
