400+ chapters and still no development in the personality of the mc which befits a death god remotely. This novel which one would expect to be about the mc's journey towards becoming the death god is riddled by useless and boring 😴 interactions and story telling of other side characters. This frankly gets tiring the more it occurs as who in their right mind would follow this story to read about the love story of some random characters like mulia and hadian, and many other sides. Also the fact the mc travels and adventures in a large group and doesn't mind having these side people tag along creating a group of 7+ people is annoying to say the least. the thrill of the mcs adventure and discovering new locations and items etc. is lost when you have more than 7 people tagging along in this journey. Also having his parents tag along on this journey is the worst idea 💡 this author could have written. perhaps thus was his attempt to try something that hasn't been done in this genre but why try fix something that wasn't broke? who cares about his parents and their drama to the point of making it its own mini novel like seriously. This author lost sight of his priorities. bottom line is, there are many more novels similar and a lot better in execution that this novel as many of the defects of this novel is not present in the other novels so save yourself the headache and time and skip this book.Thank you and have a nice day!

I always find it hard to make an actual review for LOM since the novel is just overwhelming for me and I don't think I'll do this story a justice no matter how good review I write.Since most review at the top already describe most of it. I'll just point out how I love cuttlefish's action scenes. As an idiot when in comes to visualizing fight scenes, the straightforward way cuttlefish writes really helps me a lot. I know which hand he used to punch, the posture of his legs or how the enemy get there, etc etc and most of all NOT DRAGGING!!!!! Fights will finish in just 1 or 2 chapter and although quick, the fight will still leave you satisfied and full.When I discovered LOM I'm still used to most xuan fights where last boss takes 10 chapters or a whole arc to defeat when he barely breathing... so you all can imagine how thankful I am to the point of crying when reading LOM fight scenes. absolute unit of a story, it has basically no flaws and I repeat no flaws!writing quality - easily 5 stars one of the best I've seen on this site and even in general, its basically professional levelstability of updates - it's not really that stable but I think this story deserves a full five starsstory development - again one of the best I've seen on the website, the story is structured and written beautifullycharacter design - again full five stars, the story so far gives us more and more about characters and I don't know about later characters but the current one is designed perfectlyworld background - the world seems full of things we don't know yet which gives you a thirst for more knowledge about it like the MC, the world itself is basically a normal world with a few tweaks here and there5 stars ez pz no cap, read it I usually don't make such long reviews I encourage you to give it a try

A decent novel ruined by what I assume is translation issues. It hurts me in a different way that MTL. I’m just bloody confused. Author forgets level ups, doesn’t explain anything about the world leading to absolute confusion, I don’t even KNOW what his pets do! The so called ‘tomb dreams’ are complete filter with 0 explanation. They shouldn’t even be written, they are just word filter that make it even more confusing. I don’t know if some of the issues are translator or author, but it’s still a cluster fk none the less. Peak confusion was the chapter (spoiler alert) with the ape. Why tf and who tf thinks it’s alright to come kill someone over getting first place in school? Completely a force fed conflict that came out of nowhere. Novel just makes no sense and my head hurts.
