In this city shrouded in darkness, even the moonlight cannot dispel the secrets hidden in the shadows. Jack was once an ordinary man—until one day, he woke up to find his memories missing and his hands stained with blood. His nightmares grew more vivid, the growls of a beast echoing in his ears, and his body began to change.

Meanwhile, a ruthless and mysterious organization of werewolf hunters is closing in, as if they have long been aware of Jack’s existence. And Aisha, the woman entangled with him in a web of secrets, seems to be hiding something unspeakable as well. Is he the hunter or the hunted? A man or a monster? Caught between truth and bloodshed, reason and instinct, Jack must uncover the answers before it’s too late.

When moonlight shines upon the abyss, the true horror is only beginning…

I don't feel conflict when I am reading this. I don't like that he is into music because unfortunately, I cannot listen to music in my mind as I read this piece of text.  I also do not like the urban setting in a cultivation novel. World background is a 2/5 and not a 1/5 since there is a character that shares martial arts secrets with the rest of the world; usually, in cultivation novels, sects hold martial arts books as secrets. Not so in this novel, it is a breath of fresh air as it shows that there are characters that are willing to share with others. I do not really like this book. It is, however, an okay read in case you have nothing else to do.

Writing this review pretty early on but so far I love the authors writing style. Just be warned that while it has some wholesome moments it is fairly lewd.

Aaron slowly turned back to look through the glass window against which he was leaning all this time. He stood there unblinking, in the ominously soundless hospital corridor. The pungent smell of the disinfectants generally is nauseating. But Aaron didn't seem to notice it at all.

Lu San was writing normally but he felt someone glaring at him. He looked up to notice Shi Yun admiring him through her tender gaze. Lu San didn't even bother to look at her once again. He looked at Li Seulbi who was writing and became daze in his thoughts.
