I'm 300 plus in and dropping it right now, Eldest Tang brother was stuck at Advanced soul sprite and was sort of pissy his youngest brother was going to make soul ancestor first.... several chapters later he's running through the sky as an established soul exalt? Nothing big but constant bullshit like this gets to me.
this book is amazing and soo moving I cried several times during alora's flashbacks of abuse.the part when she finds the piano in the forest only to find out that her mother eventually breaks it was just heart wrenching! I dread how she is about to be hurt by the alpha faking his love to fool elders
