The storytelling is exceptional, and the main characters exhibit fantastic chemistry. At first, the male lead might come across as challenging (omg!), but as the narrative unfolds, you'll find yourself falling in love with him, just like I did – I even shed a tear or two.
The love story in this novel starts off slow, but don't rush through if you're like me; you might regret it. The main character (MC) experiences a series of unfortunate events, from a car accident to a hearing loss that ends his singing career. The young motorcycle-riding male lead (ML), who appears tough, is deeply devoted to his younger sister and eventually falls for MC.
Their relationship begins with subtle glances and a touch of sadness, as seen in Chapter 30. The depth of their connection and the details in the writing are heartwarming. When MC's ex betrays him, ML's protectiveness nearly boils over into anger. When MC's health deteriorates due to online harassment, ML goes to great lengths to find him, risking his life in a dramatic scene.
Reading this story truly tugs at the heartstrings. I wish I could express my emotions better, but alas, my language skills are as flawed as MC's cheating ex. Still, I encourage you to read it for yourself, as it's a beautiful and bittersweet tale of love.
This book has an intense impact, evoking such strong emotions that it feels as though my heart is being squeezed tight. Although I cried buckets, there were no tears in my eyes, which only heightened the experience. It taught me a valuable lesson about patience and open communication in love – they are the foundation for resolving any issue. It beautifully showcases the harmonious dynamic between an older and younger couple, but it does irk me that often in both fiction and real life, older partners tend to infantilize their partners, regardless of their age. It emphasizes the importance of giving love a chance instead of making impulsive decisions alone.
The accompanying songs added another layer of depth, making me feel as if I could hear their voices and share in their tender gazes. This novel has left an indelible impression on my heart, with its portrayal of love and tenderness that words simply cannot express.
Despite some moments where Qin Qingzhu's actions seem illogical, the way Jiang Ji supports him is a beautiful sight. I am deeply saddened by how the 'adult' character so callously夺取并摧毁了 a child's love, his words causing immense pain.
In conclusion, reading this novel was undoubtedly the right choice for me. It demonstrates a level of understanding and patience that is not commonly found in love stories.

It took the love and support of the love interest (ML) for him to confront his psychological barriers and resume singing.
At the start, ML came across as brusque, almost deserving of a punch. Yet, his redemption was profound, setting a new standard. His handling of MC's pain was compassionate and patient, making MC feel cherished even in the face of harsh words. ML's gentleness and unwavering support in helping MC heal were driven by his desire to see MC pursue his passion, singing, which he had loved since childhood.
I appreciate the complexity and flaws the author gave MC, and how ML's love encompasses both his strengths and weaknesses. My initial judgment of the writing as mundane was incorrect; now, I recognize the romantic elements and the poetic touch in the narrative and its descriptions.
The author's storytelling and the translator's skill brought the story to life beautifully.
