Kings' Rule

In the world where slave trade was banned, or should I say it was supposed to be banned in the law. The powerful night creatures had been ruling for a century, but no one had the power to do anything about it. None was willing to take the risk to stop it because we were clearly powerless. Every ten years, there was a slave fair, a time every female feared. The males were not to be mentioned because there were hardly any male slaves anyway.
